Flowers are our business but our customer are our family. Massaro's Florist is locally owned by sisters Margaret DeCarr and MaryAnn Rice.

We proudly represent the second generation of a 50+year established floral/greenhouse business. Our florist is nestled in the heart of the Mohawk Valley, primarily serving the villages of Herkimer, Ilion, Mohawk, Frankfort, and Little Falls. We deliver (on a limited basis to various rural areas such as St. Johnsville, Middleville, Newport, Richfield Springs, etc. Please call for rural delivery inq

We offer a wide variety of floral arrangements and fruit/gourmet baskets as well as accent gifts such as candles, stuffed animals, candy (Saratoga Sweets) and much much more. It was 1994, Richard Friedrich needed a single red rose and it was after 5pm. I walked across the street, re-opened, and it's been history ever since......it's the Friedrich's 40th anniversary and we've helped them celebrate every anniversary, birthday, etc.

Our third generation business property is soon to be sold! Our Grandparents, Parents, and us have had the incredible fortune of being part of this community for over 75 years! We are so very grateful for this, and what essentially our family homestead, has provided us. With this sale Margaret will retire and MaryAnn will continue with seasonal aspects of the business. Stay tuned!

To say our customers are like family is an understatement. We have often times been there for their best and worst times having known many for our entire life! Although bittersweet, this is a great step forward for us and we thank everyone in advance for their support!
