Many songwriters have come and shared their songs of faith on our Gospel Lunch stage. I met this man at an open mic and this song brought me to tears. The man’s name is Jake Roehm and this is his first gig ever outside the open mic community. “Straight & Narrow” A song based on the story of the prodigal son and the hope of redemption. Thank you to everyone that came out to Sunday’s Gospel Lunch! What a wonderful time we had! Here are some pics taken by Lisa Ferrin capturing our day of praise! So grateful for all the musicians that gave their time, for Decadence for giving us a venue and for all the generous contributions we received for our His Table Soup Kitchen ministry. The Gospel Lunch is back ! (check flyer below for details). Three weeks from today & we have 2 AMAZING guest artists joining us. Our beloved local Brent George!! And the youngest addition to the rock & roll scene… Saxon Weiss!! If you saw him at Beachlife I’m sure you too were blown away by his amazing guitar skills! At 12 years old he is also a gifted singer songwriter and we are THRILLED to have him bring some worship and other fun tunes to our stage! Sure to be a Holy Spirit powered afternoon of GREAT music! Since there’s no Gospel Lunch tomorrow, come out and join our host band at Point Fermin Park in San Pedro, California. They’re the opening band for the second day of this summer concert series and kicking off the day with a little rock ‘n’ roll church!
