MTG Foundations - This Week @ Hashtag.

From all of us here at Hashtag Gaming Arena we'd like to first thank everyone who came out to participate in our prerelease events for MTG's Foundations release. A testament to our incredible community, we were honored to host more than 200 happy gamers for Pre-Release events this weekend, including 84 for Friday night's 7pm event. We finally got a chance to test our facility's comfort near capacity as more than 125 gamers packed the house Friday night, and we heard nothing but positive feedback from everyone who came and participated.

Here's What's New

Pre-Release events are typically held Friday to Sunday, but sometimes people can't make it, and sometimes people have so much fun they want to do it again as soon as possible. We hear you! For those gamers we are running additional pre-release events Monday to Thursday this week. We are pre-selling a single pod of 8 for each night, there are still seats available for Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

Play Booster Boxes with the buy-a-box promos are still available.

All of our regularly scheduled events including Commander and our other TCGs are still happening.

MTG Foundations Pre-Release events start tomorrow. Here's what's different:

Hashtag is trying something kind of new, kind of amazing, and kind of fresh for this Pre-Release. We have over 500 incredible humans who enjoy playing Magic at Hashtag in various formats. So we're going to reward you all by giving you every opportunity possible to play this new set in the Pre-Release format.

Starting this set, we'll be hosting NINE (9) Pre-Release events, here are the days and times, and how many seats we have left reserve your spot if you want to guarantee a seat. Our Friday 2pm event, everyone's new favorite, has had extra seats allocated for the recent surge in orders:

+++ Situation Report: Engagement on Bheta-Decima +++
Subject: Encounter with guerilla insurgents on Prometheum Rig

+++ Report Begins +++

Upon insertion onto the toxic rig Bheta-Decima, Heavenfall Blades Kill Team deployed with orders to secure key refinery platforms amidst restricted visibility from heavy toxic fumes. The haze severely obscured line of sight, limiting effective marksmanship and visibility to only a few meters.

The enemy presented as a guerilla force of baseline humans, well-equipped with various specializations, including a missile launcher, sniper elements, and close-quarters assault teams. The insurgent commander exhibited a capacity to rally troops into rapid maneuvers.

Initial Contact:
Standard fire engagement commenced. However, visibility complications delayed significant outcomes. Intercessor Gunner Vespar misjudged a gap while attempting to traverse gantries and plummeted into the toxic waters below. He survived, though this hindered his immediate combat effectiveness.

Central Refinery Engagement:
Assault Intercessor Calyxis ascended to the apex of the refinery platform, where he engaged and neutralized an enemy operative. This effort to dominate the high ground momentarily disrupted enemy positioning.

Missile Attack and Sniper Fire:
Enemy missile fire soon targeted our position. Intercessor Warrior Tenebron was struck in the subsequent barrage, sustaining significant injuries. Umbriel, though resilient, was eventually downed by concerted sniper fire from enemy positions after absorbing multiple wounds, highlighting the precision of enemy sharpshooters...
