This has been a year of growth and change for our family. I have experienced mountain top highs and valley lows.🤍🌸🌿

1. Time with my husband - Marriage 🤍 Retreat Winter, Getaway to New River Escape Summer, Trip to Knoxville, TN Fall

2. Photoshoot 📷 on our Farm Highlighting the beauty of Spring

3. Trips to Florida ☀️ to visit my parents

4. Our son and second daughter’s engagement 💍💍 (Summer | Fall)

5. Visiting our oldest daughter in Colorado in the summer- driving up to Pike’s Peak 🏔️

6. Life Coach Certification Fall 2024 🤍

7. Visiting Rocky Mountain ⛰️ National Park and celebrating our oldest daughter’s Wedding 🤍💍in Colorado Fall 2024 – time with friends and extended family

8. Helping my parents move to an apartment near our home in North Carolina 🤍

9. Watercolor Painting 🖼️

10. Pickleball Games 🤍 with family and friends

11. Joining a local Gym to begin Triathlon Training 🏊‍♀️ 🚲 🏃🏼‍♀️

My husband and I are in a beautiful season of life. We have 6 children ranging in age from 12 to 30. Our oldest three children will be getting married in the span of 6 months (September 2024 – March 2025). 🤍🤍🤍

My parents have recently moved near us. We are helping with the care of my beautiful Mom 🤍who is under Hospice Care. Time with my parents has been the greatest gift for our family! I thank God for this season we are able to enjoy with them!🤍🌸🌿

Life is a GRAND ADVENTURE!🤍🌸🌿

For the drying rack 🌸

We grew our strawflowers in caterpillar tunnels this year. They thrived in this environment. Some varieties reached the roof. We were able to get multiple cuts ✂️ throughout the season.🤍🌸🌿

Strawflowers dry beautifully and retain their vibrant color and straw texture. They are one of my favorite everlasting flowers.🌸

In early October, I began a 100-day watercolor painting 🎨 challenge. My motivation was to make time to paint daily. My goal was to keep it simple and not overthink the result. This has become one of my favorite things to do!🤍🌸🌿

To get in the habit, I set alarms on my phone to remind me. Now, I look forward to taking a few minutes each day to sit and create. 🤍🌸🌿

Enjoy a Farm tour followed by a hands-on bouquet 💐 making class.

On the tour, you will learn about the current flowers 🌸 in bloom, our perennial patches, beekeeping 🐝 and how we harvest honey.🍯

Following the Farm tour, there will be a hands-on bouquet 💐making session.

Included in the Workshop are all the flowers to make your seasonal bouquet 💐 and a pint of our Honey.🍯

Our Story

STILL WATERS FARM AND GARDENS is a family run flower farm and floral design studio located in the Mountain View area of Hickory, North Carolina. Our farm offers seasonal specialty cut flowers, foliages and edibles to florists, restaurants, supermarkets and at our roadside Farm Stand. Our mother daughter floral design team creates garden style arrangements using flowers and greenery carefully selected and harvested fresh from our fields. All of the flowers, herbs and vegetables from our farm are grown using natural sustainable practices. We strive to be good stewards of the land that has been entrusted into our care. Member of the Association of Specialty Cut Flower Growers (ASCFG).
