I bartended a wedding at Grove Lake Farms in Union Grove last night for some new clients… I had bartended her brothers wedding last year, and the bride and groom were there and loved me!! I was also recognized by other guests that were there… and I recognized many people as well!!!
It was such a beautiful day and a gorgeous venue- I served beer and wine and sodas… and helped clear the tables after dinner- and I also packed up all the leftover beer and wine at the end of the evening- it was an awesome night, and Beth and I are so happy that our clients appreciate our work enough to pass our name along to Friends and family!! Thank you for the call Brie… and congrats to you and Aikman!!!

Today Beth and I helped some new clients with their Pre wedding ceremony in Harrisburg NC… at a private residence. Beth bartended 5 different mocktails…

Lychee rose

And a mango madness and passion fruit punch

and I helped prep the apps and meals and made sure all stayed stocked, warm, clean and running smooth!!!! It was a simply lovely day- and a fantastic ceremony. Beth and I made some new friends and possible new clients!!! Thank you so much Kevin for the call…. And congrats to you and Shalini!!!

R&B once again had a weekend. Rich & I shopped & prepped everything for 2 weddings-
We did it.. but wont be doing all that prep again by ourselves.

R&B had quite the week/this past weekend. We prepped for 3 events which equaled 370 ppl, this was the largest to date so far & I’m so proud to say, they all went amazing, the clients & guests not only loved our food, but also loved us & our team. Rich & I have worked so hard for getting where we are & building our name. We know we could NOT do it without the help of our daughter & our team, working as we do & making events fun, like we do. As always thank you & we appreciate you all.
Also a shout out to everyone for getting our name out there w referrals & all that trust us with their special events, thank you!!

Well… October is here!!! My favorite month- how’s about a fun, easy holiday shot! Try this out and tell me what you think!! 🎃🎃🎃

Here’s the full recipe for the Frankenstein’s Lab Shots:

Ingredients

1/2 cup pineapple juice

1/2 cup vodka

3/4 cup blue curaçao

3 tablespoons grenadine

Black sugar (for ri***ng)

Green cherries (for garnish)

Instructions

Prepare Glasses:
Rim each shot glass with black sugar by dipping in pineapple juice first, then rolling in sugar.

First Layer (Green):
Mix pineapple juice with blue curaçao to create a neon green base. Pour into glasses and chill until slightly set.

Second Layer (Purple):
Carefully layer grenadine mixed lightly with curaçao to create a purple middle layer. Use the back of a spoon for a smooth pour.

Final Layer (Black):
Top with straight blue curaçao for a deep, dark finish.

Garnish & Serve:
Drop in a green cherry for a Frankenstein touch and serve chilled.

Finally….We had Cheyenne help another new client in Pound Ridge NY with his wife’s bday party. Very laid back, but Cheyenne did a phenomenal job keeping everything running as it should,, and ensure that our clients could enjoy their event without having to worry about anything. Thanks for the great job Cheyenne… and thanks for the call Kevin!!

While Beth and I were working the wedding… Cynthia and Greg helped a new client of ours in Lincolnton with their baby shower. They helped set up the food, kept the drinks and food stocked and looking nice, cleared tables and just generally kept everything going smooth!!! We received such a wonderful review from our client about these 2…. No big surprise there… they are both such hard workers and so personable!! Thank you so much for your hard work Cynthia and Greg…. And thanks for the call Kashia… can’t wait to hear from you again!

This past Saturday Beth and I bartended a wedding at the Villa Franca in China Grove… our 1st time at this venue…. And we were very impressed. It was a lovely venue and a lovely day- we bartended for roughly 100 people…. And supplied everything for the bar…. Including cups, ice and beverage napkins. This event was actually a referral from another couple whose wedding we bartended… and they were present at this one! It was great to see some familiar faces, and make new friends. Congrats to you Evelyn and Ray- and thanks for the call!!!

Coming next year R&B is taking our Pasta Stations a step further, we’re going to offer Wheel of Parmigiano Reggiano Cheese & add cooked pasta on top at our stations.
We’re always excited to add new food ideas like this for our clients.

Beth and I had a VERY busy weekend…. Along with helping a good friend of ours with a small gathering of ladies at her house with some chix cutlet sliders with roasted red peppers and mozzarella, some BBQ grape jelly meatballs and some pasta salad + a charcuterie board—- we catered a LORD OF THE RINGS themed wedding in Morganton… we also bartended it and supplied everything g for the bar. It was super hectic the 2 days prior to the wedding… shopping, prepping, cooking—- and lots of running around- but once we got there, Aiden, Cynthia and Greg helped us get everything in order and it turned out to be a flawless event!!!! What a great time- Kallen & Kevin were so glad to have been a part of this seriously epic wedding!!! Congrats!!

And finally… last night Michael bartended for a new clients end of summer backyard bash in Waxhaw… it was a busy night for Michael as roughly 125 people showed up… and he made multiple specialty drinks.. including LIITs, margaritas, Aperol spritzes, blackberry gin fizzes, and rum punch!!! Hats off to you Michael for handling that by yourself!!! I’ve certainly been in that situation before- great job and thank you for your hard work- and thank you Deepti for the call!!
