When I got a message from Mallie at .clt asking if I could help her friends out with planning a wedding that they almost didn't get to have (due to Hurricane Helene), I was excited. When I talked to Emily and Joseph for the first time- it was obvious just how much of a fit they were together. Their love was so obvious, so pure. And their hearts so kind, filled with such laughter. Plus, they wanted a wedding in a speakeasy, and Emily planned on wearing a black dress with a long cathedral-length black veil- HECK YES! We were all so excited and relieved they could have their dream reception at in downtown Asheville 🖤 The whole team was amazing. The evening was amazing. Their wedding was so special, so unique, and so full of joy. The music (by ) kept everyone dancing and singing all night. I'll keep posting these amazing photos by , an amazing photographer to work with, and whose documentary style is as fun and amazing as the couples she attracts. ❤️

Wish Upon A Wedding is a non-profit organization dedicated to granting weddings and vow renewals to couples facing terminal illness or life-altering circumstances.

As a wedding planner, Katie has answered the call! We were fortunate to work with her on one of the multiple weddings she has planned and coordinated with Wish Upon a Wedding.

She assembled an outstanding vendor team for Khessa and Anthony's celebration. The event sparkled with unique elements: a charismatic officiant, photo booth entertainment, elegant table designs, a live wedding artist capturing moments in paint, and a stellar photography and videography crew. Adding extra flair, the celebration featured a party robot and dramatic cold spark entrance, while we kept the music flowing. The Historic Magnolia House staff delivered impeccable service throughout.

K.S.Otter Events exhibited selfless devotion to duty and attention to detail in keeping with the highest standards amongst the top vendors in the Carolinas. Salute!

I won't forget the best man's face when he said, "I wish I had some fishing line to attach these cans to their car!" and I went "Oh, I have some! Here you go!" He looked at me like 🤯 and said, "You must see everything!" Haha! I had so much fun helping Kristen and Austin's wedding party prep their getaway car!
