Yesterday, at the grocery store, I overheard a college age girl telling her mom that she was behaving in Chapel Hill. But yeah, girls can be crazy...she heard a story of a girl that, years ago, walked in a frat house with a couple of friends and dropped a frozen turkey on some dudes lap. That girl had to be nuts, right?

I mean, yes she was probably nuts. But I bet she turned out ok. Probably is married with 2 grown kids. I feel like they are probably boys, well men now. And she might even own her own company be a fully functioning adult (most days). Going out on a limb here and guessing she might be a brunette with freckles and a great rack? Wherever she is, I am sure that girl was just having a drunk night and was confused about the status of a “situationship” and happened to have a really heavy frozen turkey on hand when she decided she was slightly annoyed by men’s confusing behavior.
I think this crazy girl is all of us. More specifically, this girl was me. Or is me. Either way, I would NEVER waste a huge frozen turkey on a man again. Sorry for stealing your turkey .

Our Story

Pretty pieces are hard to resist. Actually, for me, impossible to resist. So over the years my collection of antique, vintage, retro and modern pieces outgrew anything I could possibly display in my own home. But beautiful things ought to be seen and the thought of hiding my treasures away in the attic was heartbreaking. After years of sharing with friends and family for their weddings, parties, bridal showers, baby showers and holidays we decided it was time to let our unique inventory be a part of events across the state.

Although we are based in Greensboro, The Prettiest Pieces can be a part of your celebration regardless of the location. We love hitting the road to the mountains, the coast and everything in between.
