I did not know the silence could be so deafening. I lied wide awake for hours hoping to hear your nails on the hard wood following me into the bed room to go to bed. The echos of those sounds did not come down the hall way.

I find myself doing our normal routine this morning. Waiting for you to nudge your ball into my lap so we can play fetch until
I have to make you stop. You see you have a bad hip and sometimes need help to know when to take a break.

You have been with me through so many big life events. You were the first to p**p in the new house. Don’t worry I have forgiven you for that you were just a puppy. You were excited to welcome home the new baby. You just didn’t understand why he couldn’t toss your ball just yet, but that didn’t stop you from trying.

You were there for me when I lost my sister in law and my dad. You were there for the little bumps in life too. You were always there for me. I hope that I was able to serve you in the way you served me all these years. I love you Evee girl, just know you carry a piece of my soul.

Progress on the studio ☺️

June and the beginning of July has flown by! Lots of work going into the new space. Drywall is finally done ✅ so the big visual changes will start to come together pretty quickly over the next two weeks. Goal finish is Aug 1. Grand opening / open house will be Aug 18 & 19 ❤️

I’ve been a bit quite lately working behind the scenes - but last night I got the keys to my new studio space! We are moving to the boulevard! I couldn’t be more excited to have the boutique feel on the outside as well as on the inside. I have a goal of 2 months to flip the space, but during that time I will still have my current studio for some amazing portrait sessions. Step one is Demo - out with the old ❤️
