NACL Theatre NACL is committed to fostering a dynamic culture of creativity and connection­.

Founded in 1997, NACL (North American Cultural Laboratory) is a nonprofit arts organization located in the Western Catskills/Upper Delaware Region of Sullivan County, New York. In 2000, Co-founders Tannis Kowalchuk and Brad Krumholz moved from New York City to operate the current church-turned-theatre and 12-bedroom artist residence in Highland Lake, NY. Since its inception, NACL has created more

than 20 original productions that have toured nationally and internationally. NACL has built a nationally-recognized home for the incubation of independent theatre, hosting residencies for artists on the forefront of new and experimental performance -- over 100 companies from around the world have lived and performed at NACL. NACL Mission: to build a culture of creativity through innovative performing arts, education, and sustainable community service.
