FAVORITE PHOTO FRIDAY!
One of my favorite memories from one of my LGBTQ weddings this year was taking a group photo with both sides of the Grooms’ parents! It touched my heart in many ways with their mother/son dances together and to see the unconditional love and support given for 2 amazing young men. I just had to have my photo taken with all 4 of them because it was a beautiful wedding day from beginning to end.

Ricardo was literally the planner of our dreams!

First, Ricardo’s vendor recommendations, relationships, and management were amazing. After our very first conversation, he had a perfect understanding of our vision, so much so that we went with his #1 or #2 recommendations for literally every vendor.

Even for a big wedding with a ton of moving parts, he was so prepared that we got to enjoy the entire day without making a single last-minute decision, allowing us to be totally present and calm throughout.

Finally, he handled the two of US perfectly. We are two very different personalities — a head-in-the-clouds romantic ADHDer and a neurotic human spreadsheet. His gentle reminders of deadlines and to-dos kept us accountable without adding to our stress. After every planning call, I would turn to my fiancé and say “I feel so much better.” He navigated the drama of our families and the prescriptiveness of the church without blinking an eye.

As a wedding planner, it has not been all about my couples’ wedding journey but, about the relationship I have built with them during the planning process. Designing and creating the “Dream Wedding” for my clients’ means listening in detail to their wishes, hopes, dreams, happy memories and personal lifestyles in order to capture the very essence of who they are and make every experience and detail that much more personal to them at their own wedding. I love working with my clients who I inspire and those that inspire me and that is what makes each of my weddings unique and personalized to each and every wedding. My background in interior design has given me firsthand knowledge of what is current and innovative with colors, fashion, fabrics and décor accents which in turn makes each of my weddings current, fashionable, unique and distinctive in design.
