These were created to match their special Mardi Gras themed menu for Valentine's Day. 💛💚💜

Golden Afternoon's first wedding! ☁️ 🥂 🤍

Whimsical, ethereal, elegant floral we had the privilege of designing for a wedding this past September.

This client wanted something modern and magical for her wedding day. We were tasked with bringing to life a dozen of these delicate gypsophila clouds, as well as swags to adorn the archway at the outdoor ceremony, two giant entryway planters, a trailing sweetheart table arrangement, 9 bridesmaid bouquets, 11 boutonnieres, 4 corsages, 3 gypsophila flower crowns, 18 compote centerpieces, a sign arrangement to welcome guests, a lounge area arrangement, and a gorgeous bridal bouquet.

So excited for the 2025 wedding season and to make more dreams come true! 🌟

Golden Afternoon a year ago today vs. now

Strange to think that we started work on our beautiful space around a year and a month ago. We have since flourished in Downtown Highland, and we are now Highland's highest rated florist, and one of the top rated florists in NWI. Our gift shop has nearly tripled in size since we opened. That's progress!

Above all else, we are just so grateful for the support we have received from our clients, families and neighbors!

A Wild, Wintery Wedding Bouquet! ❄️🌨

We had snow much fun putting together this Bouquet for one of our brides! She wanted something wild & naturally elegant for her wedding day on the Winter solstice.

She opted for off-white green-leaning roses with white accents and specifically requested pinecones, Winter greens, eucalyptus and berries.

This bouquet includes:

Frosted pinecones
White hypericum berries
Cedar
Eucalyptus

Mondial white roses

Hydrangeas

Our gratitude for the hard work and dedication that our police and all NWI first responders provide is impossible to adequately express. To that end, beginning on January 1st 2025, all NWI first responders will receive a 15% discount when shopping at our store. The weather outside is frightful... ❄️

But it's always warm & sunny in the Golden Afternoon! ☀️

Swipe to see the stunning tropical centerpiece we had the pleasure of creating for an anniversary celebration last week! 💛🌺

This arrangement features an exotic mix of orchids, birds of paradise, hydrangeas, roses, snapdragons, and an array of lush, tropical greens like monstera and aphidistra leaves, finished with hot pink hypericum berries.

Yesterday was our first Black Friday and you took it beyond our wildest expectations. We don't even know what to say except thank you, thank you, thank you! ✨️

To show our gratitude we are extending our Black Friday sale through today, too...which just so happens to be Small Business Saturday!

Speaking of which, one of our customers told us that HomeGoods wasn't offering any Black Friday sales. You know why? Because they don't care whether you shop there or not. They don't need to care.

But we do.

Today, and every day, we are thankful for you!

It has been nearly six months since we opened our little store in Downtown Highland, and the reality of it is, we wouldn't be here without the support of our community, employees, business neighbors and clients.
We have met so many lovely people and everyday we are reminded of how lucky we are to be here in Highland.
