Champions of Poughkeepsie Elk Lodge 275 Fall 2024 season.
We had a great turnout, 22 teams in total!
Thanks to all the players and the Co****le Madness Staff. You guys make this league what it is. New faces and familiar ones.

Poughkeepsie Elks Fall 2024 final season standings thru 11 weeks and FINALS PAIRINGS for this Monday nights FiINALS 12/9
(I appoligize for the handwritten sheet, we’re keeping it old school as Matt was away)

3 bracket divisions
A - top 12
B - middle 16
C - bottom 16
This offers the best balanced play for a fun night of finals.

Format for the night is double elimination. There will be a best of 3 game series throughout the Winners bracket and 1 & done in Loosers bracket.

We’re paying out 1st - 3rd in all brackets.
New handmade Trophy’s from a father and son engraving company for the 1st & 2nd place teams.

Player Pairings were based in top with middle except for our local pro Frank. We love throwing and watching you tho dude. Think of it as a complement👍. Sorry Frank, we gotta give you some type of handicap, Frank got the #12 thrower, the rest of A bracket was top with middle. Check out the comment on the pairings picture to see a PPR breakdown on how close the matchups will be.

Tonight is week 10. The final week of regular season!, but wait, we have a surprise….
Next week rather than an Elk Appreciation event, we will be having a BONUS 11th week. This is a way to give your stats an extra boost or give you an extra week to qualify.
Fee will be $10 like usual. 100% of the nights take goes to supporting the lodge.l as we are subbing this bonus week for the Elks Appreciation event.
Please come out and support the lodge and get that extra week in before finals, set for December 9th.
Finals will have all qualified players split into three divisions!

The FINALS are right around the corner on Dec. 3rd and here are your player pairings for FINALS night.
We’ve had a fun Fall season and looking forward to Winter session with some BIG CHANGES‼️ (set to start January 6th)
- New format change
- Rounders (amount TBD or based off turnout)
- Double Elimination Bracket Play to follow rounders.
- Player Points earned for finishing top 3-5(tbd)
Points are redeemable at the end of season for Extra Cash💵 / Mystery Prizes🧐❓ (kinda like at an arcade is the idea)
- NEW WHEEL - to determine….
•Player ranking format, •Player pairing format & •Bracket size (if applicable)
- Season stats based on Rounders stats - PPR ranking.

A division is set to be a hell of a balanced battle! Pairings are based of Top w/ Bottom pairing for the top 16 throwers.

B - division will be a showdown with Top w/ Middle pairing and many Top of B players all being right there.

Congratulations to our local ACL pro Frank for finished in 1st for the regular season with a sick 9.94 PPR. Franks always a pleasure to throw with and fun to watch.
In second place, the young gun Mathew Decker with a solid 8.89 PPR.
Shooter McGavin Joe takes 3rd with a respectable 8.86 PPR.

There will be food finals night so come hungry!

Thanks to the players that make this league such a great one! Thank you for your continued support. I know I’m not there as often as I would like to be, thank you for being understanding. I miss it but family comes first and I’m trying hard not to miss these young moments. Co****le at the Elks has created a family group feeling. You, the players did that! Thank you!

Tomorrow Night, Elks Appreciation Event.
Come out and support the lodge and take a throw at some cash! Help the lodge keep the lights on and the good times rolling.

Player pairings for finals will be out Friday after I meet with the lodge. Play format will also be published. We want good competition, lots of fun, and everyone to get some games in.

We have an additional $274 this season towers an end of season buffet on playoff night.
New things coming for our Winter 24/25 season at NP Elks

Sadly Dharron and Bill won’t be able to attend and I have my daughters birthday dinner with her fathers family, so Matt, Clark, & Shiela will hold down registration and tournament play.
