Tent rental at Scioto Audubon Metro Park in Columbus, OH — and this might be one of our favorite views all year.

There’s something about seeing our tents set up against that skyline that makes you remember why this city is worth showing up for. Scioto Audubon sits right at the edge of downtown, with the river, the wetlands, and the trails giving way to the buildings that make Columbus look like Columbus. ACC Rental got to be part of an event right in the middle of all of it.

This is the kind of setting that reminds us why we love doing this work here. Columbus has incredible spaces for outdoor events, and we get to help bring people together in them — from the riverfront parks to backyards to ballrooms downtown.

Event rental tents, chairs, and staging brought the 2026 Columbus Air Show to life for thousands of guests this weekend. ACC Rental was honored to provide the seating and shade that let fans sit back and watch the planes soar overhead in comfort.

There’s nothing like setting up for an event of this size — but watching it all come together with the crowds under our tents, settled into our chairs, eyes on the sky, is what makes this one different. A full week of building led to this one weekend, and seeing it actually used by thousands of people is the part of the job that makes the early mornings and long days worth it.

Today’s the day. The 2026 Columbus Air Show is here at Rickenbacker International Airport, and this is the view from where ACC Rental’s crew has spent the entire week working.

Tents, tables, chairs, flooring, AC, and sidewalls — over 50,000 square feet of it, built from the ground up so today could happen exactly like this. Early mornings, long days on the tarmac, water barrel anchors on a surface that doesn’t allow stakes — all of it leading to this moment. Watching the planes overhead from underneath a tent you helped build hits different than watching it from anywhere else.

Behind the scenes at Rickenbacker International Airport — ACC Rental’s crew has been on the tarmac all week building out the 2026 Columbus Air Show.

This is what Air Show Week looks like before the planes take off. Over 50,000 square feet of tents going up on a hard surface with no stakes — every structure anchored with water barrels across a site that doesn’t allow traditional ground pe*******on on an active airport tarmac. A loader moving equipment across the runway. A full crew assembling, installing, and checking every tent before a single spectator walks through the gate.

Most people who come to the Air Show this weekend will never think about any of this. They’ll walk in, find their seat, stay cool under a tent, and watch the show. That’s exactly how it’s supposed to work. The infrastructure disappears into the background so the experience stays in the foreground — and that’s what the crew has been out here all week making sure of.

The 2026 Columbus Air Show returns June 19-21 at Rickenbacker, and ACC Rental’s crew has spent the week building the infrastructure that makes the spectator experience work — tents, chairs, tables, flooring, AC, and sidewalls across the entire site. Large scale event tent rental at the Columbus Air Show — and yes, those are the Blue Angels flying over our tents.

ACC Rental is on the ground at Rickenbacker International Airport this week setting up for the 2026 Columbus Air Show, June 19-21. Over 50,000 square feet of tents going up on the tarmac — tables, chairs, flooring, AC, and sidewalls across the entire site so spectators have everything they need for three days in the middle of one of the largest air shows in the country.

Not a bad week to be in the tent business.

Air Show Week is here — and ACC Rental is gearing up for one of the biggest builds of our year.

The 2026 Columbus Air Show runs June 19-21 at Rickenbacker International Airport, and our crew will be on site all week making it happen. Last year ACC Rental supplied over 50,000 square feet of tents for this event. Tables, chairs, flooring, AC, and sidewalls — everything needed to keep spectators comfortable across three full days on the tarmac at Rickenbacker. This week our crew is doing it all over again.

To put 50,000 square feet in perspective: that’s nearly an acre of covered space built on an active airport tarmac, anchored on hard surface, climate controlled, and ready for tens of thousands of spectators before the first aircraft takes flight. It’s the largest single build ACC Rental does all year, and it takes a full week of crew work to pull it off.

If you went to the Air Show last year, you were under our tents. We’ll see you out there June 19-21.

Large scale tent rental in Columbus, OH — 24 tents, tables, and chairs set up across a downtown green space for a major outdoor festival. Every tent anchored with water barrels on a surface we couldn’t stake into, and every one of them level, secure, and ready for vendors before the event opened.

A job like this doesn’t start when the first tent goes up. It starts well before the crew arrives on site — with a layout plan that accounts for the footprint of all 24 structures, the spacing between them for vendor access and foot traffic, the sequencing of the build so each unit goes up in the right order, and the anchoring system for a surface where traditional staking isn’t an option. Water barrel anchoring on a no-stake surface requires more precision than a standard grass install because there’s no margin for a structure that shifts once vendors are set up inside it. Every tent has to be level and locked before the next one starts.

That level of pre-planning is what makes a site this size look straightforward on event day. By the time vendors arrive to load in, the infrastructure is already done. The tents are up, the tables are set, and the crew is already off-site. That’s the standard ACC Rental holds on every job regardless of how many structures are on the order.
