At Alacrity Photography, our name holds meaning—alacrity means briskness, liveliness, and cheerfulness. It’s the energy we bring to every moment we capture, the spirit behind the stories we tell.
We’re Ashley and Bryan Meyer, a husband and wife team married for 16 years, weaving our love for life and each other into every image we create. Alacrity is built on that partnership—and on a deep belief in the beauty of real, imperfect, joyful life.
Ashley is the heart and eyes behind the lens—bringing calm presence, intuition, and a love for connection. She guides sessions with warmth and gentleness, making sure you feel fully seen and celebrated.
Bryan is the steady hand behind the scenes—mastering the technical details, crafting edits with care, and giving your images a timeless, soulful finish. Together, we create storytelling photography that blends digital clarity with the nostalgic feel of film.
But beyond the camera, we’re the Meyer family.
Music is the soundtrack of our lives—from the crackle of vinyl to Scout’s (age 9) first guitar chords, to dance parties that transform our living room into a stage. We’re concert-goers, coffee drinkers (whole milk, always), and nature lovers who find peace exploring Oregon’s forests, rivers, and coastlines.
