We are in Forest Grove at the artisan fair next to the Car Show today! Sunday 11-3:30. It’s a great event with live music, fun food and many artisans.

Lavender wreath making class with these two lavender loving ladies at AVS Lavender Farm. Not everyone wears lavender heart glasses while making lavender wreaths in a lavender filed, sipping lavender lattes, but they should. Truly a fun time! And look at Andy’s great art lavender decor!!! We all want more!

Here was my fun flower field trip last Thurs for gathering flowers for Ellie’s wedding. Happy Hen Gardens is in Aurora and we made some great bouquets and arrangements from them. I’ll have to post wedding florals after their honeymoon. Great spot !

This was my wreath making studio this weekend. Some joined in to make a wreath. And I enjoyed learning to create lovely lavender wands by Shri. This is my lavender buddy! James my youngest son was 4 days old on our second lavender festival!!! Lavender Festival is second weekend in July(13th& 14th) at Chehalem Cultural Center in Newberg. He has joined in for 18 years! These are French rows of early blooming English lavender it comes on mid June. AVS Lavender Farm on Bald Peak. I love making wreaths with this variety. He is standing by Melissa Lilac, Buena Vista, and Royal Velvet rows.

The best time to make a wreath is with fresh cut lavender. The season is short! So make your way to a lavender field near you! June/July I am at AVS Lavender Farm on Bald Peak with a view of Mt Hood on a clear day and picturesque clouds on an Oregon day. July is a country get away at Waywardwinds Lavender Farm on Chehalem Mt. Come check us out! Both are beautiful! Pre-cut or U-cut.
