The lowcountry is such an interesting place. Here on Hilton Head wearing white after Labor Day isn’t taboo and being in a bikini in October is totally normal! This particular color scheme and floral design is acceptable from May-October. I think that’s so cool! I’m a mountain girl and love how it stays warm here 9 months out of the year. The extended warm weather gives clients flexibility to have the design they dream of. Let me help you create the event of your dreams!

A Sweet & Simple Southern Affair for this wonderful couple’s rehearsal dinner. Their little boy was also turning one the same weekend, so we incorporated some birthday celebrations as well.

As a child I was always in love with blue willow china and it became the inspiration for my whole wedding design. It reminds me of antique shops, mothers china cabinets and the blue plate special.
There’s so much history and culture in the pattern. It was created in the 18th century and is still made today. Part of what makes Blue Willow so popular is the story it tells in its design. The Blue Willow Legend is a love story. It’s highly symbolic with many motifs from the legend incorporated in the design.

Last night I was thinking back on my wedding day. It was about this time two years ago when Covid lockdown hit and we had to make one of the toughest decisions I’ve ever made…to postpone our wedding day. I was truly heartbroken, as were a lot of other engaged couples in the same boat.
But, It turned out to be a blessing in disguise. We had the sweetest little backyard wedding a couple months after and then a year later had a big anniversary party with everyone we originally invited to our postponed wedding. While at the time replanning my wedding day multiple times seemed daunting and exhausting….It gave me the drive, creativity and experience to start my own event planning business. I’m so excited to help ease others stress and create happy memories of their special day(s)!
