This week we celebrated the rebranding of Outside DMC with two ribbon-cutting ceremonies, one in Savannah and one in Hilton Head. We are overjoyed by the support from our partners and the Hilton Head community; this event wouldn't have been possible without it. Outside DMC worked with Kelli Corn to create a beautiful stage backdrop with a living wall made of local materials to mimic our local waterways in a nautical chart. The wall included indigo dyed fabrics, driftwood and indigenous plant life. Sea grass baskets sewn by Michael Smalls and Dino Badger added a Lowcountry design element.
Mixed furniture options provided guests the opportunity to sit where they were comfortable for their sessions.

These beautiful textiles are made by the talented hands at the Daufuskie Blues. This studio is located in the historical Maryfield School, on Daufuskie Island SC, and is one of our favorite places to share with our clients.

This action painting experience will allow guests to learn about the Gullah Geechee culture while collaborating on a themed sketch of a sea turtle tree by artist Amiri Farris.
Amiri Geuka Farris is a noteworthy artist of the 21st century who studied at The Savannah College of Art and Design, earning a Bachelor's degree in Illustration and a Masters of Fine Arts in painting. His formal education solidified his undeniable natural gift. When asked about his inspiration Farris explains, “I like to see artwork that will take one medium and use it to do something else. Artwork that is bold, expressive and completely different.”
