I snapped ONE photo early today. I made the beans. That’s it. Fundraiser for a sweet friend’s daughter’s family. Clark and Shawna Nelson’s daughter, Whitney is married to Adam Kester. Adam was diagnosed with ALS in 2020. They have four gorgeous kids and it’s so devastating. The fundraiser was a huge success. At least 350 attendees. Pray for the family. They’re exceptional. Mashed potato bar with pulled pork, chili, corn, sour cream, butter, bbq and Carolina sauces, bacon bits, green onions and cheese. My daughter and her husband bought a new house and we brought them a Pit Boss wood grill as a housewarming gift. Chloe learned a lot about cooking different meats! We had juicy burgers, bacon wrapped filets, bacon wrapped chicken with pepperoni and provolone, bacon wrapped chicken with HOT jalapeño and pepper jack cheese, baked baguette bread with homemade garlic, Italian seasoning and salt and pepper butter, a pineapple with teriyaki chopped salad, and some packaged butter noodles. Chloe’s favorite. It was a blast!!
