Talk about a transformation!

Over the last 20 years the mansion has gone through a historic restoration to return it to its 1920’s glory. Every wedding we host helps to fund the ongoing restoration and preservation of the estate.

The mansion has a storied past, but it was first and most importantly a family home. It was a special place where the entire Felt family could gather each summer creating memories that would last a lifetime. We love to hear laughter fill the halls of the mansion as old friends and family come together to celebrate with our couples and it fills our hearts knowing that its legacy is being carried on.

Dorr Felt established his estate along Lake Michigan as a place for family gatherings and celebrations away from the hustle and bustle of Chicago. Pictured here is Agnes (Dorr’s wife), their daughters, and some of their families.

Hosting weddings and other celebrations is a special way we can carry on that legacy and help fund the ongoing restoration and preservation of the estate.
