$35 - Thanksgiving Table 🍁 Succulent Arrangement

These living succulents have been planted in a pot then set inside a realistic foam pumpkin with decorative moss and silk flowers added. This arrangement lifts out for easy watering and can be placed in a different pot after the Fall season is over. Watering needs are minimal. Plants enjoy a sunny location but can handle less light for small periods of time. Arrangement is 7 inches across and 7 inches tall.

Haworthiopsis Venosa ssp tesselata aka… ‘Alligator Plant’ 🐊 or ‘Crocodile Skin’ is a great succulent for beginners. Originally from South Africa, as so many succulents are, it can be found in the cracks and crevices where nothing else grows. It thrives in moderate heat with medium light and very little water but can survive in the harshest conditions, even going dormant in the summer to protect itself. The most unique features of this plant are the see-through windows between the geometric veining and the white “teeth” around the edges, making it appear as if an Alligator has popped up from the surface to bite your feet only to thrash back down to the deep. The Alligator plant pictured came to me screaming for help. Sun burnt, damaged, and very slow growing, I’ve babied it along for months. But look! New green growth and a sprouted baby!!!! 🌱 When Haworthiopsis Venosa ssp Tesselata is stressed (for beauty’s sake), its edges will turn a gorgeous brownish red, which I plan to do immediately next season! 😂

**and let’s not forget… What is the quickest way to kill this amazing Haworthia Plant? —> too much water! 😃 And how do we make it unhappy? Too much time in direct sunlight. But besides that, it’s a piece of cake!!!**

$25 - A Rozette Romance - This classic white pot topped with bright greens, silvery purples, and pink tipped rosettes hails from the whispers of my romantic dreams. Now, some of these ladies make quite the statement, while others seem to peek out, not entirely ready for the light. Our big lady in back is the belle of the ball, capturing the attention of each and every noble swain. Her taller sister is green with envy, hoping to rival Belle’s elegance with her height and the strategy that two rosettes are certainly better than one. Sister number three, however, aims wide and low, creeping behind her sisters’ backs, nearly toppling from her dress, all in the hopes that she’ll gain the attention of another sort —> the notorious rake! He likes his ladies gorgeous, unique, and spirited after all, and our tri-color sedum has it all. Don’t spread it around, but she’s easy to boot! Oh my! Put her anywhere and she’ll gladly root. Hot? Cold? Doesn’t matter. Although she’s working way too hard to outshine her sisters. Timid and shy 4, 5, and 6 have been relegated to the role of wall flower, but they’re too young for the ball anyway. Give ‘em time and I just know they’ll come around. They’ve got a bright and glorious future in this party of a pot 😝

*Hope you enjoyed my story. As usual, if you’re interested in this beauty, pm or comment below. And Like, share, comment and follow for exposure if you’re so inclined 😍

$25 - Mermaid Tail - What a stunner, right? And if you’re as obsessed with Starbucks as I am, this would be absolute perfection anywhere you wanna put it. This plant is a variegated Kalanchoe. Super easy to take care of, it thrives on filtered light which means partial sun outdoors and bright light indoors. The cream in the middle is where the variegated name comes from, and the pink, or lavender as they call it, along the edges is from sun stress —> not a bad thing for succulents. Want more color? Stress the plant out! 😂 This plant is 9” high, with more growth coming in that will bush out the bottom. The pot (a rare find) is 6” high for a total of a 15” statement piece! oh, and I added tiny cedar chips because they reminded me of the home of Starbucks, the Pacific Northwest. 🌲

*I’d absolutely adore you if you hit like, which helps me get exposure. And feel free to share my page with your friends.

$30 - Fun & Quirky, I call this my Bean-and-Peas Pot. The tall, pointy plant in the middle is a variety of Sanseveria ‘Fernwood Mikado’, a snake plant, which is nigh on impossible to kill as well as a bit hard to find around here. It does well in all lighting except direct sun light, so offer it some shade if you put it outdoors. This one is loving life right now, making all kind of babies. The second plant in this funky arrangement is the beloved String of Pearls. 😍 One of my absolute favorites. I’d put it in every arrangement if I had enough. It drapes and trails down and around this orange-ific pot, and in my mind it mimics the dips and swirls of the white dotted indents along the pot. You’ll also find some shell surprises mixed in.

I was very honored to create an arrangement for a good friend of mine who just completed her Masters of Divinity. This vintage pot contains a lot of symbolism. The Trinity, royal purple, a prayer stone, and a string of pearls to make sure she knows how precious she is to our Church community. Congratulations!
