The creative genius behind the company is Wallie Sharpe, who along with extraordinary talent exudes style, charisma, and charm. In 1993, Wallie started as a part-time florist working mainly with churches. His talent combined with an effervescent personality opened many doors for him. Eventually, he expanded his offering to include other services: stage design and décor, window treatments, and even

t planning. The range of services contributed to the exponential growth of the business; Wallie has coordinated events in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Atlanta. Sharpe Events and Designs was born when the demand for Wallie’s services exceeded his ability to function efficiently as a “one man show”. He currently adds management and supervision of staff to his roles. Sharpe Events includes four full-time event coordinators, six part-time staff, and several contracted wait-staff members. The business operates from a 1,200 square foot facility that includes a showroom. The team at Sharpe Events has distinguished themselves in planning, producing, and coordinating a variety of events across cultural and organizational boundaries:
