HBBA Board Members Kathy DiBona, Ron Jakubisin and Dan Serafini at the Hollywwod Storm Water Flooding event at the Art & Cultural Center. This is an important issue for residents and businesses and we listened to plans the city has to mitigate the flooding. It will take years and installation of larger pumps to replace the portable units we see all around the beach neighborhoods. In late August, a group of travel professionals from Colombia came to check out our beautiful Broadwalk for their clients (known as a “destination preview”).

I was delighted to help introduce them to our magical beach. Thank you to Sun & Fun Cycles and City of Hollywood, Florida Government’s marketing staff for coordinating this terrific visit!
