We’ve never heard so much joy exuded from guests during a ceremony. They were genuinely excited to see this couple get married. “I just had to write this and tell you how absolutely amazing and beautiful our event was last night. We were just taken back walking in and seeing the gorgeous decorations and the set up. We heard so many comments from guests how beautiful the venue was.
The food was delicious! So many people came up to me and commented on the food and drinks. I heard multiple times how this was the best open house they had been to, this was the best food they had at an open house. Wow, 10 out of 10!
But the biggest reason I had to send this was your AMAZING, PROFESSIONAL, ABOVE AND BEYOND, and EXTREMELY KIND staff!! So many comments from so many people about the staff to me and how great they were. I am not exaggerating, from the interactions, the help setting up, serving, clean up, that is the best service we have ever had!
Even after it was finished I had family and friends texting me saying they were having so much fun they didn’t want it to end.
I just can’t speak any higher on you, your venue, and staff. Thank you for making this big event so memorable and enjoyable! Both the grads thanked us so many times and said they loved their open house.

We thank everybody for supporting us our first year of business! May 1st of 2023 was when Olive & Ivy Company came to be. With that being said here are a few things you might not know about us…
Olive & Ivy is a women owned business, there are 2 staff members as pictured so you will most likely always see both of us there. Whoever you talk to on the phone will be designing your flowers, whoever you talk to in person will also be designing your flowers. We understand our hours may not be feasible for everyone’s schedule, but we make sure to always prioritize our weddings and events. Because of that our time at the storefront of our shop is limited. We want to be accommodating to everybody, but we are 2 people.
Floral shops have waves of busy times with holidays, proms, wedding season, and events. There is so much more behind the scenes than the pretty storefront and flowers our customers see. Our average day consists of more than 30 orders going across the Mid-Michigan area. All of which take time to ensure our customers satisfaction.
At the end of the day we are 2 creative passionate women that strive to service our community. We are also 2 humans that fall ill, have family emergencies, want to further our floral education, or just need time to take a step back from the shop to enjoy our lives outside of the floral industry. These are all reasons why you don’t see us here all the time. If you’ve made it this far we appreciate you listening to our story. We love our community and our little small business we call home, but we also want to make sure our customers understand the upsides and struggles that come with our industry. We look forward to year #2!

Hi there!! I'm Michelle, Owner and Lead Photographer at Michelle Lippert Photography ✨️ I never do these "get to know me" posts, so here we go 🥳1. I started getting serious about my business in 2016, but photography has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember.
2. I'm blessed to look younger than I am, and people are always surprised when I tell them my age.
3. It took me 9 years to earn my Bachelor's Degree because I couldn't decide on one program until I landed on Marketing.
4. I've been with my husband for 14 years, and it took him 5 years to propose 🫠
5. Last year, we were blessed with a sweet, funny, and loving baby girl after trying to conceive for 2 years.
6. I have an old man for a dog (he's 14) and two cats around the same age that *sometimes* tolerate baby hands pulling their hair.
7. I am so excited that warmer weather is finally here!!

Weather is unpredictable (especially in the Midwest), which can make outdoor event planning a bit stressful. Our clients love the fact that we offer indoor and outdoor setup options!
Most weddings are so busy, we rarely have an opportunity to capture the full setup. This past weekend, Eleven 11 Events Group delivered and set up their chiavari chairs and the bride’s family took care of centerpieces, so we had some time on our hands! It was the perfect time to record, because it turned out beautifully! From the bride: “I just wanted to say thank you for such a fantastic day on Saturday, and for all of your help! We had a wonderful time, loved the venue, and everyone working that day was super nice and helpful as well… Thanks again!!!” 🥰🥰🥰
