Seeing this vision come to life was incredible. I’m so thankful to all the vendors that helped make this happen! If you zoom in on the books, you’ll see names of guests. The bride and groom hand picked books for all of their guests, and we transformed them into their seating chart. The intentionality of this piece blows me away!

This wedding weekend was one to remember (both in good & bad ways lol). My car was totaled driving from the rehearsal to my hotel (yep, it was rough), but other than that, it was a GREAT weekend. Guests stayed in cabins onsite, participated in activities, had meals covered, and essentially just had a lil weekend retreat! I love weddings where it feels relaxed, and just a fun time & this was certainly that!

(Still dreaming about the corn casserole from one of their food trucks they had lol!).

They are a beautiful example of making the day special, while also keeping the intimacy of an elopement. They still had beautiful florals, a cake, traditional wedding attire, hair/makeup, the list goes on.

For the couples out there that want a wedding that feels special, but in a less traditional way, I am screaming DO IT! The wedding is about 2 becoming one, and that beautiful unity. Remember the wedding is SIMPLY to celebrate that (AKA YOU!!!)

Woahhh wedding hangover is a thanggg (no alcohol needed😂). Just a healthy dose of setting up, answering a million questions, getting the bridal party in order, and managing the night 🙈🤪 do that, and well, you’ll be toast. So if you saw me at church yesterday looking like a half zombie, that’s why.

First looks🤩

To be COMPLETELY honest, I totally see both sides… I actually didn’t do a first look (shocker for a logistical freak lol). I completely get the traditional route, an awaited moment, etc lol I mean that’s what I did.

However, I want to share a few “pros” of a first look for those on the fence:
-Logistically a smoother day
-More time with your fiancé/spouse
-Intimacy when seeing each other for the first time
-Getting all those nerves out.

It’s crazy to me that we are already 1 month into.. 2022😮 like it feels like 2021 hasn’t even finished 😵‍💫 I definitely need to spend some time doing some more goal setting and forward thinking for this year. Anyone else feel like this year is getting ahead of them at times🙈
