Nothing like a creepy Raccoon to get you into the autumn-Halloween spirit.

I found this intruder in my chicken coop this morning. It killed on hen and injured another so bad I had to put her down.

Raising livestock is not for the faint of heart.

The plant babies and their momma. 🥰

Momma Martina has a close eye on her plant babies to make sure they get planted out in the field once they are stronger and ready to really start shooting some roots.

This summer at the farm has been a quiet one but these two dogs make it feel great.

Willie, the mischievous dog that just cant help himself from getting into some sort of trouble. And Ringo, the sweetest dog that just wants to receive pets.

Give it up for the farm dogs!

What is the bigger picture?

We farm in a small scale but grow a diversity of crops. I met someone the other day who farms on 3,000 acres and grows only 5 crops. The difference was mind blowing.

Everyone has their own operation... may it flourish and be good for human kind.

Our farm and others like ours are growing different varieties of veggies while cultivating rich soils and building community. I like this vision.

Today these beds☝️ got seeded using the jang seeder from . The seeder has multiple sized seed rollers and it is fascinating how effective it is at sowing seeds. The next step is to make sure that the iguanas stay AWAY from the cute little seedlings once they sprout... wish us luck.

A little bit... lol

The egg production slows down in the summer but you can still get our eggs at Legions Park or Viscaya Farmers Market at the Urban Oasis tent. 🍳

Thank you to the tarps for killing the weeds.

Thank you to the helping hands that helped move the tarps!

This is the most amount of weeds we have ever had in our fields in the summer. 👏🏼😅 But soon the field will be back under control. We have mulch coming, great soil to add to the beds and a few more months of intense heat. Bring it on!

DM if you are interested in helping at the farm. There is constantly something new to do.

Aloha Redland

Hello Friends and Family,

Thank you for joining us in this journey. As you may already know, Aloha Redland is a women-led healing farm space. We strive to invite healers to teach, gather and spread their gifts onto our community. We also invite those open for healing to enjoy the nature setting we have to offer. In our farm, we farm with no synthetic chemicals, therefore, our produce is safe to eat. We look out for the people who have corn allergies as well. On our first year we were hit with Hurricane Irma, a hard to get over hurricane. But, we prevailed and saw many opportunities for building. In our small scale farm production area, which we will continue to expand in order to change our property into a giving space, we grow annuals and also seedlings for our friends and family who want to start their garden. We also focus on perennials, medicinals and soon; fruit trees. In the future, our vision is a self-sustaining property based on permaculture principals. We focus our mission towards helping others and our selves, grow and transform into the better version of ourselves.
