I also take care of your CA marriage license, and help with planning elopements. I am blessed to live in such a beautiful place that allows me to do something I love. I've had many jobs, all in the people business. I started working in a flower shop and after a few months I realized there are a lot of weddings in Tahoe. I thought to myself, What a wonderful job, celebrating marriage? I found out w

hat it took to marry people and I started in May of 1998. I was ordained by the Universal Life Church, which believes we are all one, no matter what religion, you or I may be, we all must live in this world together. As a marriage officiant I am excited to be a part of bringing people together. I believe marriage is the ultimate commitment that two people make when they share the same goals, ideas, values, and most importantly love. I also believe the wedding ceremony is one time you have to declare your feelings, promises, and dreams in front of your loved ones. I know marriage is worth celebrating. I also know that the pre-celebration can be a little stressful and that is where I realized my calling. Creating ceremonies & celebrating the day of marriage. Becoming a marriage officiant has blessed my life in so many ways. With my many years of experience I have brought hundred's of couple's together, and with that experience I have been able to accomplish keeping the ceremony stress free.

Rebecca and Louie wanted something simple, memorable, and just the two of them during their road trip from Washington to Northern California. I referred them to the and they fell in love with the cottages and booked a room. 🏡 They loved this pier and beach for the ceremony — and we even saw a bear on the way to the park for the ceremony. 🐻 The elopement was everything they hoped for and they were looking forward to sharing the good news with family on their way down to the Bay Area. 🚗 👩🏼‍❤️‍💋‍👨🏾 🌲

Andy and Sheila hung out together in high school but never dated. Anne and Paul live in Georgia. She reached out in June to see if they could elope during their vacation to the Tahoe area during the week of the 4th of July! 🎆 I gave them the heads-up that it was definitely going to be busy, but we could still make it happen. 🥳

They stayed in the village and met me for a 8:30am ceremony at Skylandia. 🌲 We were able to get parking spots, had a beautiful ceremony, and captured some wonderful photos. 😍 No crowds yet! After their early morning ceremony, they enjoyed paddle boarding at Sugar Pine Point State Park. I suggested for dinner. 🌅 After Tahoe, they headed to the coast for a little honeymooning.

A couple days later, I received a text from the newlyweds thanking me for my suggestions -- not only for their ceremony but for the Tahoe leg of their trip. 🚘️ ♥️ I love helping my couples plan intimate ceremonies and enjoyable memories of Tahoe. 💫

Mike and Rachel are in their Autumn season of life. They wanted a ceremony just for them. They chose who helped coordinate the details. I issues their and helped with the ceremony, which included a hand-fasting and their written vows. My favorite part was that they had picked out the same Dr. Seuss quote; they now hope to live happily ever weird together. 🥰 Looking forward to the pro photos from Ruthanne soon!

Scott and Maria were going to get married at the county but decided to do something a little more special. They had their license, but needed a witness, so my man, John, came along and also took their photos.

It was a beautiful way to start the day! Emerald Bay in the morning before the summer crowds is always a good choice. 😍 We had the place to ourselves. After the ceremony they were going to breakfast and then leaving for Niagara Falls after a couple days of enjoying Tahoe. 🥳

Cheryl and Mike flew up to from Arizona to elope with no frills -- they wanted to get married, ride bikes, relax, and have fun! 💍 🚲️ ☀️ 🥳

They stayed , so we walked to the beach for a quick ceremony before they rented bikes to enjoy the afternoon as a married couple. 👩‍❤️‍💋‍👨 Something quick, easy, special, and simple is what they were hoping for, so that's exactly what we did! 🥰

Happy Anniversary to Katie & Will who are celebrating 2 years this week! They were lucky enough to get married right when the lupines were popping at Gatekeeper's Museum in Tahoe City! 💜 This year, the lake is so high that we have no lupines and very little beach. What a difference 2 years makes!

Ricky & Tiffany traveled from Utah to Lake Tahoe to say "I do!" They reached out to me about 9 months ago and the most important part of their celebration was making sure their friends and their dogs could join. That was the goal and we made it happen with ease. 💫

They were married at Skylandia with about 30 guests sitting on the beach to witness their vows. They celebrated with charcuterie boards, cupcakes, and cocktails. 🧀 🧁 🍸️ They rented an Airbnb close to the park, so everything was seamless. The following day they had a beach party with their friends. 🏖️ 🥳

They are a super fun couple and the vibe was so much fun. Congrats to Ricky & Tiffany! 🥰

Sam and Susan met in high school. 🥰 42 years later, they reconnected and confirmed they are to be together forever. 💞

I've been scouting out some new locations and found this one a few weeks ago! 😍 They fell in love with the location and were married on a rock overlooking the lake. Thankfully not too close to the lake because as Sam was putting the ring on Susan‘s finger, it dropped! 🫣 Just like they found each other, we found the ring! Now they're both where they are meant to be -- together -- and the ring on Susan’s finger! 💍 Congrats, you two! 🥰

Joy & Kevin met in high school in the Philippines. They went their separate ways for many years and reconnected this past year. After the connection was made again, they knew it was meant for a lifetime. 👩🏻‍❤️‍👨🏻

Even though they chose to elope, they kept a few traditions like not seeing each other on the day-of until the wedding ceremony; they had separate rooms the night before. 🫣 💫

Joy saw my photos on Instagram and had her heart set on Emerald Bay. 🩵 I explained how crazy it can be there during the day at this time of year, so suggested later in the evening. I was right 😉 as it was empty and beautiful late Saturday evening. They were surrounded by immediate family and celebrated with dinner at their house rental.

Brigitta and Bill were married at Skylandia last Friday evening with very close friends, a limo, and a bald eagle! 🦅⁠ I got such a wedding buzz from this couple!

Brigitta reached out to me a little over a month ago. We clicked immediately. 🥰 She and Bill wanted something special as they have a wonderful love story that started with them meeting in an elevator in Louisiana. After 10 years to the day, they decided to wed. 💍 Happy tears were flowing during the ceremony. 🥲 And then a bald eagle graced us with its presence and flew over us -- which is, yes, good luck! ⁠

It was such a special evening. The happy couple finished the night at with Brigitta's best friend of over 20 years from college.⁠

During their first look, Shawna and Josh also privately said their vows to one another before having their intimate ceremony before family and friends. 🥰 These pictures say it all!

They were married at Donner Lake as the Truckee area is special to them; it's where they got engaged and was one of Shawna's first trips to the mountains. It was a wonderful afternoon. 💫

Fran and Eduardo reached out to me via IG in April. They live in Florida and decided to elope after the stress of planning a larger ceremony at home was just too much. I helped them find accommodations for the week and a photographer to capture their special day. It was absolutely beautiful weather at Emerald Bay with no parking issues on a Wednesday in May. 🙌🏼 They are enjoying the rest of the trip honeymooning in Tahoe and the mountains! ⛰️

Received this photo and a message from Shawna & Josh -- who were married at Donner Lake on May 18th -- letting me know they received their official marriage license! 🥂 I love seeing my couples pop up into my messages and love sharing in their excitement. 🥰

Facilitating and taking care of the marriage license paperwork is one way I save my couples time and stress, so that they have one less thing to worry about in preparation for their wedding and on their wedding day.

Heather and Marie had a lovely, mid-morning ceremony at followed by a brunch with their families at their Airbnb. Heather's makeup and hair were done by a friend and the family helped with brunch dishes. It was a very beautiful day. They'll continue the celebration when they go to Mexico for their honeymoon later this year. ✈️ 🏖️ 💕 Congrats to these two! It was an honor! 🙏🏼
