Mountain High Weddings Celebrating the day of marriage for all couples on the CA side of Tahoe. Elopements, weddings, and ceremonies. I have lived on Tahoe's West Shore since 1988.

I also take care of your CA marriage license, and help with planning elopements. I am blessed to live in such a beautiful place that allows me to do something I love. I've had many jobs, all in the people business. I started working in a flower shop and after a few months I realized there are a lot of weddings in Tahoe. I thought to myself, What a wonderful job, celebrating marriage? I found out w

hat it took to marry people and I started in May of 1998. I was ordained by the Universal Life Church, which believes we are all one, no matter what religion, you or I may be, we all must live in this world together. As a marriage officiant I am excited to be a part of bringing people together. I believe marriage is the ultimate commitment that two people make when they share the same goals, ideas, values, and most importantly love. I also believe the wedding ceremony is one time you have to declare your feelings, promises, and dreams in front of your loved ones. I know marriage is worth celebrating. I also know that the pre-celebration can be a little stressful and that is where I realized my calling. Creating ceremonies & celebrating the day of marriage. Becoming a marriage officiant has blessed my life in so many ways. With my many years of experience I have brought hundred's of couple's together, and with that experience I have been able to accomplish keeping the ceremony stress free.

They’re both very busy and wanted to celebrate just the two of them as they start their next chapter of becoming husband and wife. πŸ’ After their ceremony, they went to a local Brewfest to enjoy some beer -- and then headed to the to celebrate their wedding night. πŸ’ž

They had the best of both worlds: an easy-going South Lake Tahoe ceremony and casual Brewfest, followed by the luxury of the Ritz. 🌲🏨🌲Looking forward to the pro photos by . πŸ“·οΈ

Sheila and Wes came out from Utah to celebrate their intimate ceremony with family and friends on a Thursday in May. πŸ₯°

We did the ceremony in the evening to avoid the crowds at Emerald Bay and it was beautiful. πŸŒ„ The newlyweds enjoyed Friday with friends before more friends came on Saturday to celebrate at a larger reception in South Lake Tahoe. πŸ₯³

Sam and Will come to Lake Tahoe often and have many special memories here, so it just made sense to get married here. πŸ’ž They started with photos at sunrise and then met their family at Taylor Creek to have a very brief, intimate, beautiful 7:00am ceremony. πŸ’ The aspen trees were just starting to pop and the birds were busy singing as they exchanged their vows overlooking Taylor Creek. πŸ•ŠοΈ

After years of dreaming about getting married in a hot air balloon, it finally happened for Bill & Ramona on 5/25/25 -- and they exchanged their vows at 10,000 feet! There is something so peaceful and magical about exchanging your vows above Mount Tallac and Lake Tahoe. You get to catch the sunrise and quiet before the world wakes up while having some incredibly special moments. πŸŒ… ⛰️ β˜€οΈ πŸ’

Bill and Ramona came out from the East Coast with a few close friends and family. Bill booked with and we launched from the at 5:30am. After leaving the marina with the sun coming up over Lake Tahoe, we boarded the balloon. The staff and pilot were amazing. πŸ™πŸΌ πŸ€—

I would love to do this again soon!!! Anyone interested? πŸ˜‰ Comment below and let's make it happen! I've been scheduled a few times before to officiate a wedding on a hot air balloon, but the weather did not work out -- so when that happens, we have a sunrise ceremony on the beach. Not bad either, but while the weather is perfect, let's do this!!! πŸ₯³

Kiara and Alyssa, true high school sweethearts who met back in eighth grade, tied the knot in a dreamy Tahoe morning ceremony. 🌞 🌲 Living in the Sacramento area, they love walks in the woods and days by the Sacramento River, so getting married in Tahoe was absolutely perfect for them.
