Banquet Assistant is to supervise banquet operations along side / in the absence of the Banquet Manager. Supervise, train and inspect the performance of assigned Banquet Staff, ensuring that all procedures are completed to Ravisloe’s standards. Assist where necessary to ensure optimum service to guests. Ability to be in constant observance of entire banquet operation. Knowledgeable in food service etiquette. Required to work evenings, holidays and weekends.

Qualifications:
Minimum of two-year supervisory experience in banquet operations

Job Duties:
Responsible for set up, ex*****on and break down of events.
Ensure all food and beverage are set up and served per company standards.
Coordinate and manage all activities pertaining to food service operations.
Supervise front and back of house operations.
Organize and execute banquet events to ensure customer satisfaction.
Provide outstanding customer service for repeat business and profitability.
Address customers’ needs and requests in a timely manner.
Assist Banquet Manager with administrative support.
Assist in staff evaluation and discipline
Maintain behaviors consistent with professionalism, including professional appearance, etiquette and conduct.

Skills:
Can adapt to last minute changes
Must be able to perform job functions with attention to details
Takes initiative to satisfy guests needs
Must be able to remain thoughtful in difficult Situations and resolve problems

Physical requirements: Must be able to exert physical effort in helping front and back of house when needed in a pinch(setup, serving, dishwashing, etc.)
Licenses and Certifications: Basset and Food Handlers required

Compensation is an hourly rate with a percentage of the event service charge

A few articles are getting facts wrong so here we go…..

Ravisloe Weddings is very excited to be the host venue to all 5 weddings……with our sister property, La Banque Hotel, housing the couples before the ceremonies.

A bit more about us….

Ravisloe Weddings aims to provide ambiance, great food, impeccable presentation and flawless service to ensure a memorable and unforgettable experience for our couples and their guests. It is your wedding day after all and we love making dreams come true.

The average cost for a Saturday wedding here is around $25,000 for 150 guests. The venue will be exclusively yours for the day with no other events occurring besides golf. Not only will the venue be exclusively yours, we are an all-in-one facility as well. Couples will have access to our large and newly updated bridal suite and groom’s room 7 hours prior to their ceremony. We have our jaw dropping ivy-covered courtyard where ceremony would take place (don’t worry, we have a back-up space incase of rain). Following ceremony we would transition to the back half of the courtyard to enjoy cocktail hour underneath the bistro lights. Then for dinner, move into our grand ballroom which has vaulted ceilings and wrap around windows that allows guests to still enjoy the beautiful views during your reception.
Don’t worry if you can’t meet our 150 person minimum for a Saturday reception. We can always host you on a Friday or Sunday. We even have a weekly sunset ceremony special. We strive to accommodate all sizes and budgets as best as we can.

From starting as a private country club that not many were able to enjoy into becoming a public national historic landmark featured on a popular Netflix production makes all of us here super proud to be apart of this Ravisloe team.

Our owner, Claude Gendreau, saw what this property was capable of back in 2009 and saved it from development and now here we are!!! It’s just incredible.

Banquet Busser
Banquet Busser will assist Banquet Servers and Bartenders during food service as well as helping maintain a clean, safe and sanitized work space throughout the evening.

Responsibilities for Busser
• Help Servers clear bus tubs and dishes from the ballroom and return them to the kitchen
• Stack dinnerware and glassware properly at the dishwasher
Keep floors and chairs near dining tables clean by sweeping and mopping
• Refill salt, pepper, and other condiments at tables
• Assist servers with food delivery
• Keep designated service stations clean and well stocked
• Empty trash for Servers and Bartenders
Qualifications for Busser
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
• Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment
• Ability to obtain and maintain a food handler certification card
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift heavy objects and move furniture
• Ability to balance heavy objects
• Proven multitasking abilities
Compensation
$15/ hour plus tips
