Floral Design Assistant/Trainee Wanted
Description: Marina Florist Hawaii Kai is looking for someone who is passionate about flowers and is willing to learn basic floral design to help out our lead designers on a weekly basis. You will be taught how to fulfill daily orders found on our website, and will eventually learn how to create your own custom floral arrangements. In addition to being taught floral design, you will be trained to answer phones, take orders over the phone and in-person, work with customers who come into the shop, and operate our website. You may be asked to do deliveries in our delivery van from time-to-time as well. A background in floral design is highly preferred, but not required. Any design background is welcomed, and you must have a creative eye and ability to learn quickly. Marina Florist is looking to grow even more, so a positive and excited attitude is required! We are a close team of a few people, so teamwork is a must.
