Aloha! PLEASE READ WHOLE POST! I have been very very hard at work preparing for this event hosted by me and my friends’ nonprofit, Do It For The Culture and it’s coming quickly next week.
We cannot wait to for the THIRD year in a row, host Hawai’i’s largest Juneteenth celebration. This year, we have worked with the city to secure the beautiful Waikiki Shell to host our event at.
If you would like to support us in our mission to hosting free events for the community of color on O’ahu, you can do two things:
1. Say you are interested or going to the event. This helps the algorithm show it to more people on island.
2. Head over to the following link and donate if you can. There are a lot of expenses involved in hosting an event for over 5,000 people but we are determined to keep this free for the entire community year after year. We are a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, so every donation will receive a charitable receipt.
