In Japan and China, there’s a phrase: 一期一会 — “Treasure every encounter, for it will never recur.”
This expression comes from Japanese tea ceremony, where every meeting is treated as a once-in-a-lifetime occasion.

Just like the smoke trees in this bouquet, which we only get once or twice a year, this moment is rare and meaningful. It’s for a dear friend who’s starting a new chapter in her life. Only now do we realize we’ve shared ten years of friendship — moments that will never come again in quite the same way. While it’s a goodbye, I’m deeply grateful for the memories we’ve made and excited for all that lies ahead for her.
