Special Sweets Announcement — Part 2!
We’re so excited to share another rare opportunity to get your hands on something truly special — handcrafted sweets by our beloved collaborating pastry chef, Marie of 🍰

Poina ‘ole means “unforgettable” in Hawaiian — and that’s exactly the experience Marie creates with every single treat she makes. With careful intention, meticulous craft, and flavors that stay with you long after the last bite, Marie normally sells her sweets by hand, one person at a time. This time, she’s offering an exclusive pre-order for à la maison customers only.

🎂 Baumkuchen — a beloved German-origin cake that has captured Japanese hearts for generations. Layers upon layers of delicate batter, slowly baked one ring at a time — it’s a labor of love, and every slice shows it. A rare treat to find here in Hawaiʻi, and even rarer at this level of craftsmanship.

Pick-up: June 5–7 only (3 days)
Pre-order required

Mother’s Day is just around the corner.
May is one of the most beautiful times of year — flowers blooming everywhere, filling the world with color and life. To celebrate, we’re hosting a special floral lesson on May 9th, where fragrance and beauty come together in one unforgettable experience.
Using Wabara — a Japanese-born rose variety, rare and hard to find in Hawaii, sourced fresh from California — alongside herbs grown right here in Hawaii, you’ll create your own stunning, one-of-a-kind arrangement. A masterpiece blended by your own hands. 🌹
After the lesson, treat yourself to handmade sweets and a delicate Wabara petal tea — a moment of pure, sensory bliss.
Our recent ikebana gathering was a wonderful success, and we can’t wait to share another special experience with you all.
Give your creation to someone you love — or keep it as a beautiful gift to yourself. You deserve it!
Bring a friend and come as you are. We look forward to sharing this magical moment together.

May 10th is Mother’s Day !!
We’re so happy to invite you to our Wabara (Japanese rose) & Herbal Flower Arrangement Workshop on Saturday, May 9th!

May is a special season for us florists—a time when flowers begin to bloom in abundance, marking the true arrival of spring. It’s also when fresh, beautiful roses and aromatic herbs start to appear in the markets.

Surrounded by the most exquisite blooms and their heavenly fragrance, let’s design something unforgettable together.
We can’t wait to share this beautiful moment with you.

What can you expect?
- In this workshop, you will create an elegant arrangement using rare Wabara (Japanese roses) and freshly selected aromatic herbs. Under the guidance of a florist with over 30 years of experience, you will learn the art of balancing color, texture, and proportion to achieve a refined and sophisticated design.
- To conclude the workshop, we will serve our exclusive Wabara rose petal tea accompanied by handcrafted desserts.

Date, time and fee

This is the final announcement for this weekend’s event — this Saturday, April 18th — featuring Wakoucha, Japan’s rising star in the world of tea!
We still have a couple of seats available for the 1:00 PM session, and one or two remaining spots for the 2:30 PM session.
Just a handful of seats left — but we would be so happy to share this delicate and truly rare tasting experience with as many guests as possible!
Wakoucha refers exclusively to black tea crafted in Japan, from the very same tea leaves used in traditional Japanese green tea. Once you try it, you’ll understand why it’s something special.
We look forward to welcoming you!

Exciting news — new matcha “ AO “has arrived!
One of our signature matcha, the premium sora, has been discontinued — but we’re excited to welcome a new matcha to our collection from Japan!!
“AO” means “blue” in Japanese.
In Hawaiian, ao reflects light, daylight, and dawn.
Clear and smooth, like a blue sky. Deep umami, like the blue ocean, with a hint of bitterness, leading to a clean, refreshing finish. A quiet, meditative moment to simply enjoy.

Of course, sampling is available. Come taste and discover the difference between all three.

Limited quantity available-early purchase!!
We are open weekend 12-4 pm
