An experienced coordinator actually starts out well before the event day, depending on your coordinator it can be between 1-6 months prior & depending on your event.

FAQ: What is the difference between a wedding venue manager and a wedding coordinator?

Mostly, the venue manger is responsible for things related to the venue (entrees, bar, serving staff unless otherwise) and a wedding coordinator is responsible for the couple & everything personal related to your wedding!

“Jenni was amazing to work with! We hired Jenni to help with day of coordination for our wedding in Portland and I am forever grateful we did. She took care of every detail day-of so that we didn’t have to. The things she helped us with are countless. Her team set up all the decorations, took care of all the vendor coordination and ran the entire day so smoothly. Not once did I wonder what I was supposed to be doing because Jenni was on top of helping the event flow along. She was always in the background cuing the right people at the right time and helped my wedding vision come to life. She even had her teammate get us sandwiches when we all forgot to order lunch while taking photos for hours! A life saver!
She truly went above and beyond. We did a lot of the wedding DIY. My dad built the wedding arch and Jenni created the beautiful floral arrangement to go on it and helped set it up day of. She created all the signage for the wedding ensuring guests knew where to go for what. She brought her twinkle lights to string across the meadow and it really improved the ambiance. And lastly, Jenni did all this with the utmost patience, professionalism and wisdom. She has done a lot of events and draws on her vast experience for every decision or piece of advice.
