We’re world famous for it — the mighty wind of the Gorge. Truly well known. Hood River overflows with windsurfers & kiters. There’s energy and inertia in the breeze. Can be daunting when plotting an event but when properly planned for, it only adds to the sense of place, the authenticity and wonder of celebrating in the great outdoors.

We love seeing what couples choose to hang and we’re always down to add a hook (or a piece of creative hardware) if needed. So long as we know what you want to hang in advance, we’ll make every effort to accommodate the vision, regardless of where you are on the property.

It’s 2025 and our 2026 books are officially open. It sometimes all feels so hard to believe. That we’re here, that it’s been five years. We’re grateful for all that lies ahead in 2025 and have this sense of fluttering disbelief that we’re already looking toward 2026. With steadiness and a rosy disposition, we remain more committed than ever to the constant evolution required to maintain excellence—we are endlessly in pursuit of wonder, the heart of every experience we create.

We often see brides (and sometimes grooms!) choose to get ready on the main floor rather than in the suite upstairs, the floor to ceiling windows and open floor plan is an ideal spot for larger wedding parties to get hair and makeup done. Once hair & makeup wraps, sneak upstairs to get into your dress, and voilaaaaaa!

Historically, we close our books in the spring, saving a few dates for our spontaneous couples (hello & congrats 🎉 to anyone newly engaged and planning a wedding next year!). We reopen dates every October, kicking off a rapid-fire booking month. We’re alittle over halfway through, and the final dates are going fast—so if you’re interested, DM us, email, and book a call. We want to chat & once the month ends, that’ll be IT for 2025! ❤️‍🔥

Ali is a close family friend and has been a part of this place long before it was ‘The Griffin House.’ When she told us she wanted to get married here, we were deeply honored. Rosy as can be. Watching her marry Sam—the love of her life—surrounded by their families was a little bit surreal. Our hearts nearly burst. We couldn’t be more grateful for how it all worked out (cue happy sobs 😭) & .i.smith — we love you forever ♾️❤️‍🔥
