Here are 3 tips for choosing a wedding venue you’ll LOVE:

1. Choose a location that feels like HOME. ❤️

I think choosing a part of the world that feels familiar or celebrates your love is really special. Or somewhere you always dreamed of visiting?! Maybe a GORGEous part of the world like… Hood River?

2. If you can, go do a site tour! 👀

I think being able to stand in the physical space, feel the feels, smell the smells and being able to picture you and your beloved on your wedding day in a place will give you an inclination of how you’ll feel on the day itself.

3. Can’t visit the venue but know you love the area? 🏔️

STALK the heck out of it! Yes I’m talking instagram, the venue website, etc etc but I’m also telling you get on google earth and really GET IN THERE 🤓

The small details can really personalize your wedding and take it to the next level! For example… the guest book.

There are so many ways to get creative with your guest book and do something that screams YOU!

Here are some ideas:

Signing an instrument 🎸 If you’re a musical person, having all your guests sign your guitar would be super special.

Painting! 🧑‍🎨 We’ve seen couples have their guests all contribute to painting a large canvas. Then hanging that in your house?! So cute.

Signing Jenga pieces! Imagine playing a game while looking at all the sweet notes people wrote 🥹

If you rent .co for your big day. adding a FotoBus photobooth pic to your guestbook isn’t a bad idea either 😉

Their phenomenal chef is Ginger Power 👩‍🍳, who specializes in fresh, hyper-seasonal, local, organic, elegant food served family style. The rest of the staff continues to bring love and attention to every single dish. Everything we’ve tasted we’ve LOVED! Mouthwatering stuff 🤤

If your venue doesn’t include it, for sure!!

We don’t do day-of coordination — all of our services are taken care of over email, facetime or the tele ☎️, but we CAN recommend our favorite, most on-top-of-it vendors to support your day on-site.
