Hoopeston!!!.....I don't know where to start. Be it the family that helps in little or big ways, the folks who drove hours, people who donated water or land, the sweet little girl slinging lemonade, those who share posts, those who DM me words of encouragement, or the biggest rockstars of them all, those who stood inline in the sun for long periods of time just to wrap their hands around a Krust Dog!!!! I wish I could of spoke to each one of you and thank each one of you personally, but I had grub to sling so I hit my zone. Just know I try to speak to each one of you through our food! If it made your belly & heart happy then know that we busted our ass to do so and that makes our hearts happy. Thank you all so much for helping start our American dream in a huge way. Take a bow!!! If you us around town say "hey" or hit us up on here and we'll talk to ya. Feed ya again real soon!!!!!

During our soft opening, we told folks to share pictures of their grub, and the event. Then we'd pick one we liked the best, and that customers next dog would be on us! The same will hold true at any of our events.....so with that being said. Bryson Irvin pulled out this lovely Pic of his "Flamin' Homer" and I dig it, so your next dog is on us big guy!

As many of you will remember, awhile back I raised concerns about Hoopeston's food truck permit fees. I started a petition, went and plead my case to the city council, and let the cards fall where they may. I've been waiting to share this great news with all of you. The council moved to Amend the fees from $20/day to $200/yr. A massive difference, and one that will foster and support my field of buisness. We can not thank the mayor & council members of Hoopeston enough for this positive decision, but mostly we want to thank everyone who shared, signed, & funded our petition leading to real change for our blossoming buisness. Your support did not go unnoticed. Without each and everyone of you we would be in a different place. Cheers to a bright future! We look forward to feeding everyone real soon!

Man do we wanna thank everyone who came out to support us today....family, close friends, random people, that random old dude that just showed up cause he was hungry......Once I hit my zone, I didn't see s**t! (A chef thing!) Anyways it was so good for our souls, we had several issues but family helped us! All and all one of the best days in my career. Big things are coming Hoopeston! We'll feed ya again real soon folks!

A few notes if you are coming to Krust Dog's soft opening!

• This will be our first time doing this. Problems can and will arrive. Please be patient with us!

• Like any other restaurant, if you see something on the menu that sounds appetizing , but has an item or two you do not like let us know and we'll be more than happy to alter it to your liking!

• We anticipate a good crowd of hungry customers and have prepared accordingly, but items are limited and could run out!

• The land we will be working on was graciously donated to us by my nephew & his wife. Please be respectful of it and enjoy the beautiful day!

• We can serve food to go, or feel free to enjoy it around the trailer!

• Lastly, if you get grub share a picture and tag us on Facebook. We'll pick our favorite photo and that person's next hot dog / sausage will be on us!

We look forward to seeing everyone, and can't thank you enough for being part of the start of what we hope will be an epic journey!!!

We are ecstatic over the amount of interest we've received for Krust Dog's upcoming "soft opening" and are continuing to send out invitations. This event is for trial purposes, as well as educating ourselves on our systems, work flow, and other concerns. Don't fret if you've not received an invitation, we'll be fully public soon after it with our grand opening!
