COVER time! Our next issue hits newsstands in October and a REAL Kentucky bride is on the cover for the first time since 2020. Courtney, our cover girl, submitted her wedding for our April issue and we asked if she could wait until October to see her wedding printed. She agreed and the rest is history! I love decorating and was blessed with the opportunity to do just that. Britteny Richardson, the owner of I CAN Fitness, hired us to decorate for her customer appreciation. She has been in business for two years and wanted to thank her customers. She specializes in fitness for what she calls "active agers" and teaches nutrition. Many of you may already know (yet some of you may not!), but back in April 2005, I launched my wedding planning business with a mission to serve busy couples planning their wedding.
My goal is to help couples actually enjoy planning their wedding and spare them the extra stress that often comes along with the endless decision making, navigating family dynamics, and hours of over-analyzing every choice. I absolutely LOVE bring to life the couple's visions, going above and beyond for my clients, and planning a stress-free wedding.
The last two years were intense for the event industry but being able to help couples plan a memorable celebration to kick off their marriage was a true highlight for me. In 2022 and 2023, dates are filling up fast so if you know someone planning a wedding, I'd love for you to send them my way so I can take great care of them. I am starting a wedding planners' group. If you have been planning weddings for three to five years and have a positive attitude I would love to have you become a member. There will be presentations on marketing, business etiquette, and structure, self care for planners, décor, etc. from persons who are leaders in their fields.
