Today, one of the grooms I married two years ago asked me to perform their mother’s funeral.

I had no idea when I started what path this adventure would take me on. Until today it has been being a part of two people’s most important day with family and friends watching in attendance. Today, I looked up from my script and saw I was by myself with family and friends watching in attendance. In the front row was the couple I married with their newborn child having different tears.

I know this. This adventure is about the hundreds of people I have met and how I can assist them in life’s most meaningful events. I sit tonight reflecting over today’s event, humble and grateful to be a part of people’s most important days.
