As some prepare for hunting season, our family is gearing up for our annual lighting season 🎃🎄!

This year & going forward, we're excited to announce that all donations will be dedicated to supporting our school social workers. These incredible individuals work tirelessly to meet the needs of every child in our community, ensuring they have the resources and support to thrive both in and out of the classroom.

Your contributions will directly benefit these social workers, allowing them to address various needs and make a positive impact on the lives of our students.

We’re deeply grateful for your continued support and generosity as we work together to make a difference!

$132.56 raised as of today and we are thankful for every cent so don’t be afraid to dig in between those seats to help our community!

For those who may not have seen our post a couple months back, this year we chose to raise funds for the annual Random Acts of Kindness Benefit that The Hardtails Saloon/Catering hosts each year in May. An event that brings the community together to help others in need. An event that made an impact on our own family after Jodi Jurkovac showed up at our doorstep with some of that kindness the community gave and not to only our door, but to 9 other families thanks to those who put the benefit together, the staff, and those who gave.

We truly, TRULY, have a great community here in Hortonville! 🥰

The show is coming soon! While I can't announce the starting date *yet*, I can announce this years donation recipient!

Each year we want to make sure that we are picking a cause where all funds collected stays within our community. This year, we are getting personal with how we’ve decided as we became a surprised recipient to Hardtails Random Act of Kindness Benefit along with 9 other recipients. I’m almost positive that it meant as much to the others as it did to us. Without oversharing, the community support came at a time that our household entered the battle of cancer together.

All donations collected will go towards Hardtail’s next annual Random Act of Kindness Benefit to help others in our community during their time of need just as they helped us during our time of need. Please help us help them if possible AND make sure to like/ follow The Hardtails Saloon/Catering for their next AMAZING benefit and other fun events

Hortonville Area School District Spring Break starts this weekend!!

What better way to kick things off then to have some fun with the Hortonville Police Department and Easter Bunny this Sunday, April 2nd?

If you haven't already, be sure to follow their page for future events!

When: Sunday, April 2nd, 1pm-4pm

The Easter Bunny will be riding with the Hortonville Police Department. 🐇🐰🐣

We are going to split the village up in sections, that way you will have an idea when the Easter Bunny will be in your neighborhood!!

1-2 pm north of Hwy 15, westside of village to eastside, starting by Crystal Spring Dr.
2-3 pm south of Hwy 15, east of Nash St., starting on Lake St.
3-4 pm south of Hwy 15 eastside of village, starting at Lakeshore Dr and ending at Wildwind subdivision.

We have such a great community!

There are 2 food pantries that we know of right here in Hortonville, inside the Municipal Building and outside within the Cottages on Main area behind Charlie's Drive In.

❤️People helping people❤️

Did you know we have "A Little Food Pantry" inside the POLICE doors at the municipal building? This is accessible 24 hours per day for those in need. If you would like to donate you can drop off items next to the case.

The ideas don't stop...we may have to become a 24/7 365 days Holiday Home 🤔.....

We are gathering information to smoothly kick off our 2023 Hometown Holiday meetings. I did make an "other" option for all questions to expand areas I may have missed. Thank you for participating!

Have we mentioned we are a part of this? Every smiling face is beyond worth it ☺️!!!

We would LOVE to see what ideas can come alive and what entertainment possibilities could be created for the Hortonville Community! However to do so, the committee needs more help!

(The wife is a little crazy with thinking of fun things for every Holiday, but let's calm her crazy and work on this one together first.. plus we don't have enough storage space for all of her ideas😉)

We had a blast creating and making our 1st Holiday Event happen in December! Now, though it is only January, we are already thinking about our 2023 event 😊!

As we all know, new things bring learning curves and take time, but we have a lot of ideas and are excited to grow the event and collaborate with local businesses. How can we grow? With your help!!
