Savvy Sisters offers a venue which can be used for almost any event imaginable. Built in 1931, the old Hosston school, now Singing Pines Recreational Complex,
offers a setting for a large gathering to a small intimate setting. Weddings, birthday parties, reunions, corporate workshops,
proms, holiday parties, baby showers, as well as sporting events are only a few of
the many events we have the f

acilities for. we provide a brides room, bridesmaids
room, and grooms room is provided for our wedding parties! The 1931 auditorium
with its original lights and new waterfall stairs provide the perfect ambiance for a
wedding, be it shabby chic or traditional elegance. screen
and top notch sound system make it not only the perfect place for your wedding
video but also for movies parties. The gym, with its large wood ceiling is perfect for
receptions, parties, proms, reunions and, of course, basketball! The newly completed
tennis court is lighted and the baseball field is being updated. The old two room cafeteria
now has a charming tearoom on one side, available by reservation only right now, and a
café is in the works for the other side. Spacious rooms in the school can be decorated and
make the perfect place for birthday parties, baby showers and more. We are equipped with
computer ready screens for corporate and business workshops. The entire facility is air
conditioned and heated for our guests comfort. The Savvy Sisters are there to plan, coordinate
and plan your event every step of the way!

Hey everyone!!! Donna and I (Savvy Sisters Events) have finally emptied all our rooms at the school into the gym! We are having a huge sale and are so excited! Though we have sold a huge amount of, we have added even more treasures!
There are great savings on a wide array of items! Teachers, churches, event venues anyone planning a wedding, those who enjoy entertaining, crafters and those who like bargain hunting will be able to find great deals! I will be posting items from time to time all week but there is no way to show everything!

Saturday, February 24, 10:00 to 3:00
Available Sunday afternoon by appointment.

CALLING ALL CRAFTERS!!
Are you a crafter? Do you use tea cups or china?We have it all and more! Fabric, jars, artificial flowers and greenery, many craft materials and ribbon galore plus more!!!
See you Saturday at the old Hosston school in Hosston from 10:00 to 3:00 at the Christmas bazaar and sale! Great vendors! Lunch served from 11:00 until gone!

Mark your calendar for December 2nd from 10:00am to 3:00 pm and get ready for an all you need shopping experience ! Singing Pines Recreational Center (formerly the Old Hosston School) in Hosston, Louisiana will be hosting a Christmas bazaar and sale.
Booths inside the building include Mrs. Pat Bailey’s beautiful jeweled creations, Mrs. Kirby’s cookbooks, firestarters and stovetop potpourri! There will be Chicken and Spaghetti plates and baked goods.
We also have dresses for proms and homecomings or pageants .
Savvy Sisters has emptied more rooms and buildings and has 13 years of event items and furniture! We have everything from candles to columns and everything in between ! Doors, benches, party items, lanterns, candle holders, fabric, netting , peacock feathers, vases, plates, tea cups, holiday decor are just a few of the items you will find in the gym!

Hey everyone!!! This Saturday, September 23 from 10:00 to 3:00, the old Hosston School will be open for the Heritage and Harvest tour! This year the Savvy Sisters will be selling all their stuff!!! Items from antiques to birthday party set ups will be up for sale! Vases, lamps, tables, chairs, fabric, netting, burlap, tablecloths, birthday party decor, wedding decor, columns, furniture, old school desks, dishes, home decor, holiday decor…. way too much to list! You don’t want to miss it! Most of our goodies will be in the gym so start there! See y’all Saturday!
