Not truly black, as no flower that I know of really is. When exposed to sufficient light, the true colors are revealed. Such a fine specimen needed to be shared. A favorite, indeed.

Hello, My name is Ryan Grantham. I started my career in the floral industry October of 1999. Brought on as seasonal help, I was given the chance to stay on and began to learn the basics of floral design. I remained in retail sales and design for over six years, working under and learning from several excellent designers at Batesville City Florist, Tipton and Hurst, and Friday's Florist. In 2006 I was brought into the wholesale side of the industry as a consultant and sales representative at Southern Wholesale Florist. It was there that my floral knowledge expanded greatly in the detail of product, availability, and logistics. After a full decade in that position, I was offered the opportunity to purchase Johnson Floral Company, January of 2017. In all 23 years of my career, I have not had any honor greater than leading this team of fantastic designers. I can only hope that this privilege continues for another twenty-three. Massive thank you to all of my crew's dedication and to the community of Hot Springs for their continuous support.

Hi, I'm Kelly Gieringer. I have been in the floral industry since 1977. I started as a delivery driver at the age of 16. I've worked in greenhouses, have grown fresh cut flowers and over 5,000 poinsettias for Christmas throughout the years. I have competed in many competitions throughout my career. I've decorated for the Arkansas State Capitol for many years at the holidays. I have also worked at the Tyler Rose Festival in Tyler, Texas for 7 years. I even did a reception for Jerry Jones and the Dallas Cowboys and built arrangements around the Super Bowl Trophy. I've designed flowers for Yoko Ono and for Robert Plant. I love doing weddings and events. I love all the aspects of the floral industry. I've even been to Holland, to the fields of flowers and Alsmeer, Holland to see the Floral Trade Center. Flowers are my passion, next to my family. I have been with Johnson Floral Company for a little over a year.

My name is Thelma Whitfield and I have been in the floral industry for 25 years. I’ve competed and placed at the Arkansas Floral association convention competitions. My work has been published in Arkansas Bride magazine. My favorite is unique and unusual designs but do modern and traditional designs as well.

Hi, my name is Melissa Burris. I have lived in Hot Springs since 1989. I began working at Johnson Floral Company in January of 2017 as a delivery driver. I never dreamed when I started that I would become a floral designer and enjoy my work so much. In the Spring of 2020, I transitioned inside and started learning to design. I can truly say I love what I do and the group of coworkers that I work with daily. We laugh, we cry, we take care of each other and we work together as a team! There is so much to learn in the floral industry and I am still learning daily. I enjoy speaking with people and being in the public in customer service. I'm so excited for the future of Johnson Floral and what our company will take on next in Hot Springs and the surrounding areas. From a basic budvase to floral arrangements to event venues to weddings and even the holidays, I love every aspect of the floral industry and all the artistry designs.

Hi! My name is Christina Wisener. I have worked for Johnson Floral Company since July 2017. I started as a delivery driver and I loved getting out in the community and seeing all the smiling faces as they received their flowers. In the fall of 2020, I started learning to design. I really enjoy putting all the different flowers and color schemes together to make someone's day brighter.
