We’re looking forward to opening night of The Glass Menagerie this week 👏 in this rehearsal clip, Amanda (played by Clarissa Gordon) speaks to her shy and withdrawn daughter, Laura (played by Lyndsay Lagreid). Amanda is a faded southern belle from Mississippi who clings to her past and yearns for the comforts and social graces of her youth. She tasks her son Tom (played by Chase Mead) to find his sister a suitable Gentleman Caller (played by Dhruva Dayal).
The play takes place in St. Louis in the 1930s.

One week away from opening night! 👏 Rehearsals are well on the way for the first play of the season, The Glass Menagerie.
The play follows the lives of the Winfields, a family living in St. Louis in the 1930s and is largely based on the playwright’s own life.
Played by Chase Mead, Tom narrates the story about his mom Amanda, played by Clarissa Gordon, and his sister Laura, played by Lyndsay Lagreid. He is tasked with finding his sister a gentleman caller, played by Dhruva Dayal.
