Returning this year are fair favorites Kenny Chandler amd Tom Tucker. Kenny will set up his Civil War camp and take fair goers back in time to see what life was like during the war. Tom Tucker will have his Native American camp on display. Our young patrons love interacting with Tom, learning more about native American culture and earning a feather or bringing back their feathers from past events. Let's make this pageant one to remember. This will be a open pageant meaning it is open to girls from everywhere. We are still looking for contestants, volunteers, and sponsors.

Who is ready for the Amelia County Fair? We have already been hard at work coordinating everything for this year's event. Here is a sneak peek of a few things we have planned for this year's fair: The Demolition Derby is coming to the fair Saturday June 21st. Miss Amelia County Fair Pageant returns on Thursday June 19th - registration is officially open. Applications can be found on our website or you can email [email protected]. We will have Cowboy Circus, and a couple of other surprise entertainment acts performing multiple shows daily. Vendor registration is open and applications are available on the website. The exhibit hall will be in full swing this year so be on the lookout for this year's catalog. We hope to have a big agricultural showing this year with tractors, farm equipment, tools, animals, exhibits and more. It takes a lot of work and money to make this happen and we are actively seeking sponsors to help make this the best fair in the region. Calling all vendors! Registration is officially open for the 2025 Amelia County Fair. We are looking for a variety of vendors such as: artisans & crafters, direct sales businesses, small businesses, political candidates, and local organizations to sell or display at this year's fair. The fair is scheduled for June 19-22. Applications can be found on our website at AmeliaCountyFair.com.

This event is something we really hope takes off this year. Let's show our community what it takes to raise livestock, put food on the table, and run a farm. This year's fair runs June 19-22. It's official. The Demolition Derby is coming to the Amelia County Fair on June, 21 2025!!!! It is sure to be a action packed day with rides, fair food, carnival games, vendors, entertainment, live music, barnyard critters and so much more. Details for admission is still being worked out. Also information on classes and rules for the derby will be available soon. As we keep adding all of these awesome events at the fair we really need the communities help. We need volunteers, sponsors, and for people to share, share, share and get people out to the fair. Stay tuned because we are not done yet and have a few more big announcements coming.

The Amelia County Fair Association is holding its monthly meeting tonight January 21 at 7pm. The meeting will take place at the Amelia County Administration Building. We are only 5 months away from the fair and are actively seeking volunteers. If you want to help make the fair the best it can be please join us.

Our first entertainment act has been booked for this year's fair. We are excited to welcome Cowboy Circus with Danny Grant. His show is all things "Cowboy" and is something you will not want to miss. Be sure to mark your calendars for June 19-22 and come out to see the Cowboy Circus. He will be performing multiple shows every day. Could yall do us a huge favor and go like and follow our midway provider So Fun Amusements. They are new to Facebook. You might recognize a few of the rides from last year and maybe even see a few new rides coming to this year's fair.

Our group had a blast at this year's Fair Convention. We learned, networked and maybe even booked a few new entertainment acts. We also won a few media awards.

We are headed to the VA Association of Fairs Convention next weekend with biggest group of people in the last few years. We have lots of exciting events we are planning for next year's fair and can't wait to announce them after the convention!
