Closed for the season-Cape May Distillery began as a hobby, out of boredom , so I decided to put to good use. The advise I received from my grandfather, though VERY long ago , the main points of the process were there . The founders, Nathan Dolezel and Lee Phillips became friends after meeting at SUNY Albany, NY in the late 2000’s. Like most students in their twenties they found a commonality and

tended to used spirits, in excess, in a way to bring people together in celebration for the greatest social lubricant ever . Lee Phillips began his affair with distilling spirits and all the processes involved in his mid- twenties and is proud of the fact that distilling is not just a hobby but a family traditions that he is proud to carry on.
