It was beautiful. It was fun. It was magical. Two people so incredibly happy together on their wedding day on May 15, 2021. It was 3 months and 4 days, and then God took you home. We were blessed to know you, your children and your friends. We will never, ever forget you. Your charisma, passion, enthusiasm and laughter were absolutely enchanting. You were a force. Lightning in a bottle. Powerful, positive and just what Ty needed. Our hearts are broken. We will never truly understand why you are not here with us now until it is our time to see you again. After the success of our first Arts & Crafts show this past November, we have decided to host another event this spring.
We are looking for Arts & Craft vendors for the Spring Fling Arts & Crafts event on Saturday, April 20, 2024, from noon - 4 pm at Whispering Pine Plantation Wedding & Event Venue in Amelia. We will also have our Photographer, Abi Marie Photography, taking photos on our new pavilion on the pond and in the pines. Bring your kids for great spring photos for a fee. Free admission to our customers, guests and visitors.

We are looking for artisans, crafters, food trucks, candy, ice cream, petting zoo, face painters, live music and more.
This is an outside event. There is an opportunity for some of you to be set up under our 40x80 event tent and the rest set up your own tables and pop-up tents. Set up will be from 10 am - noon.

Please let me know if you are interested in participating. The booth fee is $25, and I will be sending out an invitation/application via email if you would like to participate in this event. Please send me an email with your information and I will send you an application. We want to support local businesses. Payment will be made through Venmo.

Our wedding was absolutely amazing! Whispering Pine Plantation went out of their way to make everything perfect. You won't be disappointed if you book with them. Annmarie went above and beyond in decorating, coordinating, cleaning, planning, and so much more! She never slows down and makes sure that you have a stress free wedding! We love you and can't wait to come back for future events!

First, if I could give more stars, I would! I hosted a bridal shower for my future daughter-in-law recently at Whispering Pine Plantation. The location itself is breathtaking. Surrounded by pine trees and fields with the last golden stalks of fall corn, it was a lovely setting for the day. There were so many floral and garden backdrops (sparkling pool, a wall of white hydrangeas, to name a few), we had a variety of photo options to choose from. The inside was spacious with enough room to accommodate our party of nearly thirty with a deck and outside area to enjoy as well. And that’s just the venue! Annmarie, the event coordinator makes it all happen. She truly cares about every event taking place at the venue. During the planning sessions she offered suggestions on food, decorations, special touches for the day (a poster sized picture of the couple to put on an easel in the entry way!). She added special touches like writing the welcome sign in calligraphy for guests to see walking up the sidewalk. The catering was excellent as was the food. Everything was ready to go and presented beautifully! I was allowed to rearrange decor if I chose and the amount of decorations to choose from was ample! An important feature of any business is communication. Annmarie answered every single text. Every single question. Promptly. Everything I asked her to do, she was able to do. Finally, I can only say, if this much attention to detail is paid to a small shower of 30 people, how incredibly lucky are those people who have their actual weddings at this beautiful location!

We had been searching for the perfect wedding venue for our big day! What we wanted was the southern hospitality feel. And that’s exactly what you get at Whispering Pine with a sprinkle of The Notebook feel as well. Annmarie made wedding plan so easy and I had very little to stress over planning. She took my ideas and made them a reality. Our wedding which was 9/16/23 was magical and perfect.

From start to finish our experience at whispering pines and with Ann Marie was 10/10. The property is beautiful and Ann Marie worked so hard to make sure our dream day turned into reality! Our wedding was perfect, everything went smoothly and the contacts Ann Marie had are stellar! The day started with pouring down rain, but as soon as it stopped at 3pm the team all came together to make sure we were able to get married outside. We thank Ann Marie and her team so much for giving our day everything we required! If you are looking for a great venue, this is it!

We got married here on August 5th, 2023. The venue was absolutely GORGEOUS! It accommodated all of my guest. Annmarie was wonderful from our initial walk through and all the way through the wedding and even still to this day. I’m so blessed to have found this venue and amazing people to have spent the best day of my life. Couldn’t recommend the venue and Annmarie more!

I got married married July 16th of last year and it was amazing!!! The services I received for what I payed for was worth it!!! Ann Marie was a huge help and couldn’t have done it without her. Whispering Pine Plantation in Amelia Court House, Virginia is owned and operated by the Ashman family. It offers the perfect setting for an outdoor wedding underneath towering pine trees and fields of gold and green for a beautiful backdrop with fabulous photo opportunities. The Plantation is a beautiful bed and breakfast style home where you can relax with your wedding party, family and friends for a memorable day wedding, weekend wedding or Sunday affair. Whispering Pine will provide memories you and your guests will cherish for years to come. We can also host your birthday anniversary or special celebration. Contact us directly for special pricing.

Facilities and Capacity: Whispering Pine offers several areas for a beautiful ceremony and reception space. The cocktail hour and dancing can be held around the swimming pool or underneath your wedding tent. The venue can accommodate a maximum of 250 guests with ample parking and a parking attendant.

Services Offered: Options include your choice of outside vendors with no restrictions. Choose your own photographer, florist, planner/coordinator, caterer, videographer, band or DJ. Stage your wedding during the week so that your wedding day is carefree. A pavilion with sink, refrigerator and tables for your caterer and bartender to use as a prep and serving station. An outdoor private bathroom is also available for your guests as well as two bathrooms on the main floor of the house. The rehearsal and rehearsal dinner can be held at Whispering Pine at no additional cost. We offer several rental packages that include your rental items: tent, tables, chairs and linen with options of adding décor, dance floor, heaters, etc., we can also custom build your rental décor package.
