Whispering Pine Plantation in Amelia Court House, Virginia is owned and operated by the Ashman family. It offers the perfect setting for an outdoor wedding underneath towering pine trees and fields of gold and green for a beautiful backdrop with fabulous photo opportunities. The Plantation is a beautiful bed and breakfast style home where you can relax with your wedding party, family and friends for a memorable day wedding, weekend wedding or Sunday affair. Whispering Pine will provide memories you and your guests will cherish for years to come. We can also host your birthday anniversary or special celebration. Contact us directly for special pricing.

Facilities and Capacity: Whispering Pine offers several areas for a beautiful ceremony and reception space. The cocktail hour and dancing can be held around the swimming pool or underneath your wedding tent. The venue can accommodate a maximum of 250 guests with ample parking and a parking attendant.

Services Offered: Options include your choice of outside vendors with no restrictions. Choose your own photographer, florist, planner/coordinator, caterer, videographer, band or DJ. Stage your wedding during the week so that your wedding day is carefree. A pavilion with sink, refrigerator and tables for your caterer and bartender to use as a prep and serving station. An outdoor private bathroom is also available for your guests as well as two bathrooms on the main floor of the house. The rehearsal and rehearsal dinner can be held at Whispering Pine at no additional cost. We offer several rental packages that include your rental items: tent, tables, chairs and linen with options of adding décor, dance floor, heaters, etc., we can also custom build your rental décor package.
