BELOW IS EMAIL SENT TO ALL TICKET HOLDERS
Good Morning Zydeco Lovers,

First, we would like to thank you for your continued support of this event for the past 10 years. We really enjoy having so many Zydeco Lovers come into the parks and enjoy life with their family and friends.
Second, we would like to let everyone know that it takes months of hard work to put this event together. There are many moving pieces. On top of coordinating out of town bands, sound, staging, fencing, staff, venue, security, vendors, etc you have to go through a rigorous process of getting approvals from many city and state departments. The hard work from our team makes it look easy, but the above list is just a taste of the planning process

Yesterday's event did not turn out like we would have liked. We followed detailed reports all week and felt like the rain would pass in the early afternoon (like around 3-330) and it would be a nice day afterwards. The rain ended up not passing in our area until around 5:30. The rain also brought some chilly weather. The event still went on as planned and all the bands still came and gave great performances. We had a decent crowd out there and it was a fun time like always.

We do understand that some of you did not want to chance driving down after the rain passed because of the possibility that more rain would come.

We would like to show you that we appreciate your support in making this the #1 Zydeco Event in Texas

On Saturday April 19th, we will be giving you the same vibes of the Houston Zydeco Fest at our ZYDECO LOVERS APPRECIATION EVENT. All tickets purchased for yesterday's event (scanned or not scanned) are valid for this event. We are definitely going to put together a fun time for you. Even if you came to yesterdays event, we invite you to join us again on April 19th.

The rain at Emancipation Park has passed by and Leon Chavis is setting up. We still here rockin and rollin. Head this way. The rain did bring cooler weather. We still going until 10!!

HOUSTON ZYDECO FEST IS THIS TODAY!!!
WE HOPE YOU ARE READY TO ATTEND THE BEST ZYDECO FESTIVAL IN THE STATE OF TEXAS. A DAY OF DANCING, EATING AND PARTYING HAS BEEN PLANNED FOR YOU. OUR STAGE WILL BE ROCKING ALL DAY AND WE ARE SURE YOU WILL HAVE A GOOD TIME

We have been following the weather closely as we get detailed reports from the city. Yes we will get some rain today. In downtown Houston the rain will be between 1p-3p. After it passes it will be a nice cool day. We will be set up and ready for you to come enjoy yourself.

Tickets are selling VERY WELL and we are expecting a nice crowd. The price of tickets are about to increase so let your friends/family know to purchase theirs NOW!! while they are still at a good price.

Q: What are the Parking Options
A: You can purchase parking passes to the Parking garage or the Parking lot located across the street from the venue. You can purchase this ticket on Evenbrite the same place you purchased your Admission ticket. You will receive an email with the address to the lot. There is also some street parking. We also suggest Ride sharing (uber) and carpooling.

Q: Where is the entrance
A: The Entrance will be closest to Emancipation St on the Side of the Cultural Center

Q: What does this ticket get me
A: Your General Admission ticket allows you entry into the event. To enter, you should print your ticket or just have it ready on your mobile device.

Q: Is Seating Available
A: There are limited places to sit. We do suggest bringing a folding chair or blanket (many people do). Tents and coolers are not allowed

Q: Are Kids Free
A: Kids 8 and Under are free

Q: Are Pets allowed
A: We are sorry Pets are not allowed

Q:What can we bring
A: You can NOT bring outside coolers, tents, weapons, food or drinks into the venue. This includes pepper spray and pocket knives. You are allowed to bring blankets and chairs
