Today, on World lymphoma awareness day, I want to hug and recognize all of us who had to fight this war, all of the strong and brave ones that are going through it right now, and all our families, friends, and medical professionals that gave us their unconditional love and support.

I am grateful for crossing paths with people that taught me how to be resilient in that moment of my life. I am grateful that at age 22, I opened my eyes to the essential things in life, the ones that brighten even the most hidden spots of our souls. I am grateful that I witnessed the purest demonstrations of love and could learn from them. I am grateful for just being here now.

I wanted to share a poem a friend sent me one day before my first chemo. Reading it would always give me a little boost of energy during the process 🤍 I hope it can brighten someone’s day as well 🤍

Cancer is so Limited....
It cannot cripple Love
It cannot shatter Hope
It cannot corrode Faith
It cannot destroy Peace
It cannot kill Friendship
It cannot suppress Memories
It cannot silence Courage
It cannot invade the Soul
It cannot steal Eternal Life
