There are definitely ways to save on your wedding, but those are not it.
Your caterer is one of the main wedding elements, and your guests have spent time and money to attend your wedding. You can choose a menu within your budget, but don’t skimp on food. Instead you can reduce your guest count or adjust some decor elements.
Your sister, aunt or cousin cannot be your wedding planner. Even if they had some experience, they cannot be part of the wedding and want to enjoy it while working it. It is a nonstop and huge commitment for to make sure everything is running smooth that day. You’re either part of making memories with your sister, or you’re behind the scenes working.
Having open seating will often leave your close family members and wedding party scattered around the room too far from you. It might also create an awkward setting between guests and leave empty odd seats on your tables. At minimum, if you don’t want to do assigned seating, identify reserved seating for your family and close friends.

Starting with salads and diving into different entrees and sides, the whole process was an outstanding culinary experience. From the salads, to the Mac n Cheese, the Chicken Wellington and the Short Ribs, did I mention the Mushroom Risotto 😋
Fresh and flavorful doesn’t even begin to describe it, but I can assure you that working with City View Catering, I have never been disappointed! What more? With over two pounds of food, we were so full and still had leftovers to take home, and our bride got a fresh container of candied pecans.
