Hi friends! There are so many new faces here! Welcome to all of you, this is a safe space to be yourself and be the weirdo you were meant to be ❤️

Here are a few fun facts about me if you're wanting a new bestie:

•even though I'm in to film, I really only watch my comfort shows/movies over + over (the Shrek saga is it right now lol)

•i was recently diagnosed with psoriatic arthritis after it being suspected for a while

•im a huge introvert, but thrive when it's just me and one or two other people!

•i have an 8 year old St Bernard named Champ and an 18(?) year old cat named Pepper

•my go-to drink is anything with mezcal or Marg flights at

•my wedding to my #1 is this October so I know all about the stress you couples are going through right now!

I can't wait to get to know all of you, don't be afraid to slide into those DMS (why am I talking like I'm "hip"?) 😛🤘

Can I be honest? Like REALLY honest?

My name is Jessie and I am a photographer/videographer that doesn't push first looks.
I know… I KNOW….

But ya know what? I don’t apologize for it.
Here’s why:
I LOVE the look on your faces when you two see each other down the aisle for the first time. It brings me to tears literally every single time.
There are some options to spend some time before the ceremony that don't include seeing each other! Here are a few:
•first touch (like Annie + Grant decided to do)
•read letters from each other
•pray together
•have a phone call!

Please tell me I’m not
alone??? Does ANYONE else feel the same way about first looks? If we can’t agree (it’s
fine… i’ll be fine haha), what’s one unpopular opinion you hold about something? I wanna know!

I tend to get overly excited by a coffee while spending the majority of my time hidden behind a camera, following people around to epic locations (like this freaking castle!!!) and capturing sweet moments.

We need to chat. Pretend we’re sitting down together, coffee in hand, hearts wide open.
Get the word “perfect” out of your vocabulary. For real. Delete it. Stop using it. Because that simple word has such a destructive power on our hearts and well being.

Stop looking at your competition thinking they’re perfect while believing so fully that you’re not.

Stop striving for a perfect outfit to look “cool” if you don’t like dressing that way.

Stop comparing yourself to a stranger’s highlight reel on the internet while looking at your own mess thinking “I’m not
enough.”

Stop playing a mental mind game with yourself that you’ll be perfect once you get to a certain amount of followers,
success, notoriety, or fame. I call bull. You’ll always be striving for more even after you reach those things.

So let’s get this through our heads once and for all: perfection is a myth, a unicorn, an impossible standard to live up to,
and it’s soooo past time to stop striving, hustling, and reaching for something that’s already within you. YOU are unique,
incredible, flawed, human, and full of SO much heart.

Everyone makes mistakes. No one is perfect, and our constant search for perfection will never make us fulfilled. Never.
Chasing perfection means a life full of going, going, going in search of more and never truly resting in the knowledge
that the messy, imperfect life we’re living right NOW, is beautiful.

So stop striving. Stop chasing perfection. Delete it from your vocabulary. And rest in the truth that you are incredible,
magical, brave, fearless, flawed, and wonderful JUST AS YOU ARE. No perfection necessary.
