Things I wish for this holiday season:
1. More hours in the day
2. More days in the week
3. Film labs to have a 24 hr turn around time
4. Someone to come decorate my house

Okay none of those things are happening but hey I can wish. This fall is a busy one and can’t wait for the rest of this year’s weddings.
This last weekend was also for a small church ceremony for Kamryn and Garrett before their big wedding.

Sometimes last minute bookings work out like it did for Jennifer and Michael! After their first photographer wasn’t responding in a timely manner or sending a contract, they contacted me and I’m so glad I was available to take over within a *week*

I can’t emphasize enough to people to listen to their gut when they see red flags like no contract, vendor takes a week to respond or prices seem too good to be true. Imagine how difficult it’s going to be to get your photos back if these red flags happen before the wedding day!

Took a little IG post break after baby but I’m baaack! Shoots start up again next week and rolling right into fall weddings. Have been taking phone meetings this whole time and 2025 and even 2026 weddings are coming in hot! So seriously… don’t wait.

Little lady is here! So thankful to have another pregnancy and delivery without incident. When I originally started our fertility journey 6 years ago I had lots of hope but didn’t know my dream of having two children would come true. All of it was so worth it in the end and I can’t believe my little family is complete with baby girl Valerie joining us. Doesn’t even seem real

I’m taking the next few months off from shooting, but still taking bookings, answering emails, and editing as usual when we get home. Can’t wait for my fall couples!

Our Story

If I’m not talking about photography, I’m probably showing pictures of my dachshund pup or drinking coffee (maybe simultaneously!) Besides puppies and coffee, you might have guessed I also love taking photos and being a story teller through pictures. While in college, I fell head over heels in love with the camera and the dark room. So in love with shooting, ended up changing my major to something I loved to do and never grew tired of. Photography is what I do full time, and I graduated from Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas, with a Bachelors in Photography and a Minor in Visual Art

My style

As far as my photography style, I am an enthusiast for using natural light whenever possible, but I am always prepared for whatever tricky lighting situation I encounter. I am always looking to capture emotion and the story through photojournalism. On wedding days I always look like I’m going to war wearing my utility belt equipped with two cameras and a bag full tools to save brides on their wedding day (like glue for those pesky fake lashes.) I am also shooting more hybrid these days (film+digital) so one of those two cameras is probably loaded with film.
