Have a private last dance.

It’s a perfect break between a wild wedding party and a red carpet exit. A moment between you and your person as newlyweds. You have your whole lives to look forward to in a new light together.
From a logistical perspective, it’s also just enough time for me to yell instructions at your guests to get in formation and NOT light the sparklers before I give the green light—to which someone whose had maybe TOO much of a good time will hear incorrectly and light anyway with their own lighter they magically pulled from their pocket… 😂

🏈🚨FOOTBALL SUNDAY WEDDING TREND ALERT

Lately, I’ve had multiple couples who’ve been uncomfortable with the thought of doing a garter toss… mainly because they don’t want to be all up under their bride’s dress in front of family (and anyone, really). Totally understandable if that’s not your vibe!

📣 My friends: This does NOT mean you have to completely miss out having a fun moment with your bros!

If you’re into sports, toss out a football… or baseball, or basketball, or kick a soccer ball… Whatever! Use a fun sports intro to get everybody pumped and do a little improv fake out and show off that arm! 🏈⚾️🏀⚽️

Disclaimer: Please be mindful of your surroundings and don’t fumble in the venue!! AKA: don’t break anything 😂

Groom, George, went the extra mile and customized the football to commemorate the wedding day for whoever caught it.

Had our first meeting with this couple yesterday and we are SO EXCITED for the planning! Lots of creative juices flowing between these two and we are here for it!

Wedding dress versatility at it’s finest! Our lovely bride, Sheila, stunned in this multi-piece wedding dress from for her big day to fit every phase of the night. For her formal church ceremony, she wanted to have more shoulder coverage with removable lace sleeves. Her cathedral veil was a magnificent accessory!

As she continued into the reception, she swapped out her lace sleeves for cute, blinged out straps and satin top! A little more fun and danceable, if you ask me! I love to have free arms to swing around on the dance floor!

For the end of the night, she went for a flirty strapless look which was the right move for the vintage car getaway!

Ladies… if you want to stun your guests… get a multi-piece dress you can change up throughout your day! So much personality is shown through your styles! 🎀

A few fabulous florals can spruce up an already fabulous space 🌺 The harvest table in the Emily Clay Water Wall section at the Houston Botanic Garden is probably my favorite non-plant feature at the garden. The way the vibrant florals from Sommer Floral Co. and signature salads from City View Catering give new life to this space is magical!

We’re excited to announce we’ll be back at to celebrate this lovely couple, Vanessa and Cesar, on their wedding day! They’ve got most, if not all, of their planning done, and are ready to tag us in to ensure all the pieces of the puzzle are in place for the big day 🙌🏽 Looking forward to hearing the details for what they have planned!

Happy 1-year anniversary to some of the BEST furbaby parents I’ve ever met, Roxana and Logan! These two have hearts of gold and they are so perfectly matched for one another 🩷 It was an honor being a part of their intimate, at-home wedding where they made their 9 precious pups part of their ceremony.

As a married couple, your anniversaries are momentous occasions for reflection and gratitude—reflection on the growth you’ve experienced together and gratitude for the love and support you receive.

Thinking about this, I have to shout out our lovely clients Nivea and Jesus, who celebrated their milestone 25th anniversary with a huge wedding vow renewal with their three beautiful kids by their side, and people they hold dear to their hearts from throughout their years together. Everything was symbolic of love, growth, and prosperity they’ve achieved in their marriage. I still get goosebumps 🩶 What an occasion!
