It’s a perfect break between a wild wedding party and a red carpet exit. A moment between you and your person as newlyweds. You have your whole lives to look forward to in a new light together.
From a logistical perspective, it’s also just enough time for me to yell instructions at your guests to get in formation and NOT light the sparklers before I give the green light—to which someone whose had maybe TOO much of a good time will hear incorrectly and light anyway with their own lighter they magically pulled from their pocket… 😂

🏈🚨FOOTBALL SUNDAY WEDDING TREND ALERT

Lately, I’ve had multiple couples who’ve been uncomfortable with the thought of doing a garter toss… mainly because they don’t want to be all up under their bride’s dress in front of family (and anyone, really). Totally understandable if that’s not your vibe!

📣 My friends: This does NOT mean you have to completely miss out having a fun moment with your bros!

If you’re into sports, toss out a football… or baseball, or basketball, or kick a soccer ball… Whatever! Use a fun sports intro to get everybody pumped and do a little improv fake out and show off that arm! 🏈⚾️🏀⚽️

Disclaimer: Please be mindful of your surroundings and don’t fumble in the venue!! AKA: don’t break anything 😂

Groom, George, went the extra mile and customized the football to commemorate the wedding day for whoever caught it.
